It has been determined that the Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVO) will require the purchase of equipment, that was determined to be commercially available and have been out-sourced for prior NAVO requirements.
2. SCOPE OF WORK:
NAVO requires the purchase of test equipment to support the maintenance and calibration of acoustic sensing systems.
2.1 Test Equipment Purchases
In support of acoustic remote sensing sytems calibration and maintenance, NAVO will require the purchase of specialized test equipment and storage mediums. The equipment purchased will be associated with the autonomous undersea acoustic systems (AUV) NAVO is retaining from the Space and Warfare Center (SPAWAR).
2.1.1 Salient Characteristics
Two (2) helium leak detectors are required to identify pressure leaks in the Slocum Glider pressure housings. Detectors must have at a minimum chararateristics equal to the “Agilent HLD MD15 Mobile Dry Helium Leak Detector.” Each system must include the follow accessories: Power Probe sniffer 10 ft., Universal test fixture (flapper box), with necessary accessories including I/O card and connecting cable.
