Maintenance / Service Contract for Air Compressors, Quiet Cube Industrial Vacuums, 20 Ton A/C-DH units, 55K Flow Water Blasters and 20K WATERJET Water Blast Systems

1.0 BACKGROUND: Programmed Service has proven to extend the life, enhance the reliability and economy of operation of our industrial air compressors, industrial vacuums, A/C units and Ultra High Water Blasting systems.

2.0 SCOPE OF WORK: Perform Preventative Maintenance for four (4) EA Air Compressors, four (4) EA Quiet Cube industrial vacuums, eight (8) EA 20 Ton A/C units, two (2) EA 55K PSI Water Blasting System and two (2) EA 20K PSI Water Blasting Systems. Location will change periodically with shipyard demands, but will remain in the confines of Norfolk Naval Ship Yard, Portsmouth, VA, to include Controlled Industrial Area and/or Norfolk Naval Base (NOB), Norfolk Virginia. Equipment may be located in the dry docks within the naval installations. Serial numbers are listed below.

Preventative Maintenance shall be performed four (4) times a year, once per quarter, for a total of four (4) times per year to include:

-Start units and run for 30 minutes under light load. Inspect unit to manufacturer specifications. Shipyard personnel will ensure machines are ready to run with services hook-up.

-Conduct required / stated Preventative Maintenance (PM’s) schedules from technical manuals.

-Check, replace, refill all fluids, belts, filters, electrical controllers, programming and electrical components.

-Check Freon pressures as required.

-Check and change all filters on water pumps and diesel engines.

-Ensure required safety stickers are applied and legible.

-Inspect all cooling coils, heater coils and condensers.

-Install Major and Minor maintenance kits as required. Inspect for any lose or damaged parts.

-Take any oil and/or cooling fluid samples for testing of contaminates.

-Ensure PLC programming is correct and updated to shipyard applications.

Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting equipment includes, but is not limited to: Provide technical and mechanical services in response to POC / NNSY request for mechanically and/or electrical failing equipment due to misuse, mishandling, improper use and normal wear and tear items within 24 Hours. Identify worn, broken, or misused parts and recommend purchase to POC’s.

Communicate work requirements to replace parts indicated above. Provide condition / maintenance reports to POC for archival purposes.

3.0 PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified to work on electric Ingersoll-Rand air compressors, Quiet Cube industrial vacuums, 20 Ton A/C units, 55K PSI Water Blasting Systems, and 20K PSI Water Blasting systems.

4.0 CONTRACTOR REQUIREMINTS / SPECIFIC TASKS: Provide work as described in paragraph 2.0 Scope of Work. Upon completion of PM services, provide a condition report to C970 maintenance personnel for record keeping.

4.1 PLANNED MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE: Four (4) Preventative Maintenance visits per year. See enclosed Preventative Maintenance schedules from technical manuals.

4.2 CONSUMABLES: As needed

5.0 HOURS OF OPERATION:

May 30th thru September 5th- 0620-1500 September 6th thru May 29th- 0720-1600
