Statement of Work [(3) overlapping shield pieces of same material, per DWG 2370B0000073] Inner Lower Tube Shield Body: RF-6577, LIN 0007 (2370B0000073-1) Middle Lower Tube Shield Body: RF-6577, LIN 0008 (2370B0000073-2) Outer Lower Tube Shield Body: RF-6577, LIN 0009 (2370B0000073-3)

1. All three Lower Tube Shield Bodies [Inner (-1), Middle (-2), and Outer (-3)] are to be manufactured in accordance with Portsmouth Naval Shipyard drawing PNS 2370B0000073, Revision ORIG.

2. The PNSY technical Point of Contact (POC) in Code 2370 is Jeff Wilson (207-438-5691).

3. Code 2370 requires a technical review of contractor bid prior to contract award, in order to verify contractor technical capabilities and verify proper material for manufacture.

4. The contractor will comply with the material specifications outlined in NOTE 1 of drawing PNS 2370B0000073, Revision Orig., for the Lower Tube Shield Bodies. Any bid submitted shall include a statement of the material to be used for fabrication. In accordance with NOTE 1 of drawing PNS 2370B0000073, any alternate material to be used in lieu of SILFLEX TUNGSTEN requires sample submission at the time of or prior to bid submittal, and approval by Code 2370 prior to contract award. Upon delivery, the contractor shall provide certification of the material used.

5. PNSY reserves the right to inspect the shielding at any time during fabrication. A minimum of two working days notice will be given to the contractor for unplanned visits by a PNSY representative.

6. The local DCMA office shall conduct an "on-site" contractor post-award to verify that the contractor maintains facilities and fully understands the contract terms, conditions and responsibilities, ensuring contract specifications and requirements are able to be met. The buyer reserves the right to attend the post-award verification along with DCMA.

7. Contractor shall contact Code 2370 (J. Wilson, 207-438-5691) a minimum of two working days prior to shipment.
