Question: regarding work item 243-10-001. Paragraph 3.4.13 says to “Remove steering accumulator listed in 1.3.4 and 2 each hoses and replace with new using 2.2 and 2.8 through 2.10 for guidance.” According to reference 2.10, there is 3/8”OD X 18 gage CRES tube attached to the accumulator, however from the ship check, one of the connections is tubing and the other is flex hose. Can you please clarify which 2 hoses the spec is referring to?

Answer: Work item 243-10-001 has been revised to require 9 each flex hoses to be replaced vice 2. The hoses has been identified per reference 13mPE-501-017. Reference will be sent via DoD safe to requesters.
