Questions and Answers Contractor in blue; Government in red

(1) Question: Do you have any pictures of both types of Cranes to be removed and any removal routes?

Cranes/trolley/jib? Along that line will there be a clear removal path, to get outside the bldg's?

Answer: No pictures are available. Attached drawing of wall crane. Jib beams are attached to building column approximately 15’ above ground, 20’ length, with Yale chain hoist (KAL) and manual trolley. There will be clear removal path to get a trailer in/out of building.

(2) Question: ACM wiring? Has then been confirmed or just assumed? Has it been tested or are you going on the assumption to treat it as hazardous?

Answer: This is assumed based on age of crane.

(3) Question: Do you have any dimensions on these cranes? Width/Length? Etc?

Answer: See attached drawing for wall crane.

(4) Question: Once safely on the ground can you semi process on site for recycling (cutting torch)?

Answer: Can unbolt wall crane into smaller pieces to fit on trailer for disposal. No hot work.

(5) Question: Do you have a disposal/collection point on base for these waste stream's or has any thought been put into the costs involved for shipping ACM waste off island?

Answer: Contractor shall be responsible for disposal/recycling of all removed items including ACM waste. Costs for disposing of ACM waste were assumed to be included when disposing of cranes.
