About this file

This document is an amendment to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a 60-day Shallow Draft Tanker Time Charter issued by the Military Sealift Command, a defense agency. The RFP has been re-opened, and offerors who had previously submitted timely offers must reaffirm or resubmit their offers. All other offerors must submit their entire offer to be considered. Offers or reaffirmed offers must be submitted by Monday, June 17, 2024 at 1400 Eastern Time. The amendment modifies the vessel stowage plan requirements, specifying that the vessel must be able to load a minimum of 30,000 bbls JP5 while not exceeding a laden draft of 5.9 meters. The government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions, so the offeror's initial offer should contain their best terms from a price and technical standpoint.
