About this file
This document provides answers to questions from potential offerors regarding solicitation N32205-21-R-4147, issued by the Department of the Navy Military Sealift Command for a tanker voyage charter. The answers clarify requirements for the last three cargoes carried by the vessel, with Amendment A0006 specifying allowable prior cargoes and tank cleaning requirements. The answers also address vessel dimensions and draft limits for the loading port, with remeasuring allowed up to the original 60,000 MT deadweight limit and a maximum length overall of 180 meters for the specified mooring facility. While bottled nitrogen systems are not technically acceptable in place of an inert gas system, vegetable and soybean oils are identified as allowable last cargoes per Amendment A0006.
