IMS is the OEM for the LDCP’s and the MCS and hold proprietary drawings for this equipment.
TIMBERLINE is required to calibrate and test the 1SG Diesel Generator inputs (Thermo-couples, RTD's, Transducers a n d Pressure Switches) at the beginning and completion of the Engine Overhauls. Each Thermo-couple, RTD, Transducer a n d Pressure Switch input/output from 1SG Diesel Generator must be tested and calibrated through the LDCP to the MCCS. TIMBERLINE is the only IMS certified company to conduct the testing and repairs.
1SG Diesel Generator is 1 of 3 Diesel Generators and is required for safe ships maneuvering. 1SG Diesel Generator is designated to operate the SAFEGUARDS Bow Thruster for tight maneuvering and maintaining the ships position while conducting ships missions. Generator 1SG also is required to provide electrical power to the ship. All Diesel Generators are controlled through the MCS Console. If the calibrations and testing are not conducted properly the engine and the Diesel Generators will not load share and possibly cause catastrophic failure.
