QUESTION ONE: Can you please advise the order quantities required for Chart Group 8 “Africa Atlantic Coast” and Chart Group 9 “Panama Canal” or are these items not required and should remain as 0.

ANSWER ONE: If you turn your attention to the basis of award listed in the combined synopsis and solicitation, the intent is to have pricing pre-negotiated in case those charts are needed at a later date through a contract modification or other purchase. Currently, there is not a firm requirement for them. While those charts that do have quantities currently have firm requirements.

QUESTION TWO: S-57/S-63 ENCs require Hardware ID and ENC User Permit numbers due to their ENC capabilities. Can those numbers, for each of the 15 platforms be provided ahead of time?

ANSWER TWO: No, this information will be made available to the awardee after award is made.

QUESTION THREE: The GFM line item 4.1 states that TRANSAS ECDIS model NAVISAILOR 4000. Does that mean one will be provided to the contractor upon award of the contract?

ANSWER THREE: This statement was inadvertently placed under GFM. The intent of this statement is to notify the contractor that this is the model of the ECDIS system currently installed on each ship. See revised Specs.
