About this file
This document amends a solicitation for a dry cargo voyage charter. The amendment updates the vessel requirements to specify carriage of a minimum of 157,855 square feet of military cargo by one or two self-sustaining U.S. or foreign flag roll-on/roll-off or combination roll-on/roll-off/lift-on/lift-off vessels offered together by the same offeror. It also makes available upon request an updated packing list reflecting correct cargo weights and requires offerors to provide a total lump sum price for movement of the cargo using one or two vessels as well as a demurrage rate. The solicitation was issued by the Department of the Navy Military Sealift Command for the Military Sealift Command Norfolk Strategic Sealift Program Support Office.
