The Pathway warranties explicitly require all service and supplies for the machines be provided by a factory-certified technician. Failure to do so will invalidate the warranty. It is believed that Medoc Advanced Medical Systems is the sole service provider that can meet the specific warranty requirements related to providing service for the FMRI Pathway Systems.

Therefore, the Government anticipates a non-competitive award to Medoc Advanced Medical Systems because they appear to be the only vendor capable of fulfilling the Government’s requirement.

However, if any interested party, especially a small business, believes it can meet the above requirement, it may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The statement of capabilities and any other information furnished must be in writing and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow NCI to determine if the party can perform the requirement. Responses must be received in the contracting office by 12:00 PM Eastern Prevailing Time, on February 21, 2020. All responses and questions must be in writing or emailed to Andy May, Contracting Officer and Susanne Cassidy, Contract Specialist, via electronic mail at andrew.may@nih.gov and susanne.cassidy@nih.gov.
