STATEMENT OF WORK
Statement of Work (REVISED in Amendment 0001) for
Supply and Delivery of Cryogenic Gases
PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, WA
1. INTRODUCTION: Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Keyport requires contractor services to supply and deliver cryogenic gases. The contractor shall provide bulk liquid nitrogen and argon as described in Paragraph 2 of this SOW.
2. EQUIPMENT & SERVICE REQUIRED: Work and services to be performed are subject to the requirements and standards contained in this SOW. The contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, and labor to accomplish these requirements.
2.1 The contractor will provide Liquid Nitrogen, Bulk, Purity 99.995% or 99.999% and Liquid Argon, Bulk, Purity 99.995% or 99.999%
2.2 Liquid Nitrogen: This contract will include one (1) base quantity of 66,000 gallons and two (2) option quantities of 66,000 gallons.
2.3 Liquid Argon: This contract will include one (1) base quantity of 800 gallons and two (2) option quantities of 800 gallons.
2.4 Scheduled delivery for the base is one (1) year from date of award.
3 DESCRIPTION OF TASKS TO BE PERFORMED:
3.1 Contractor shall supply the following materials (cryogenic gases):
3.1.1 Liquid Nitrogen, Bulk, Purity 99.995% or 99.999%
3.1.2 Liquid Argon, Bulk, Purity 99.995% or 99.999%
3.2 Frequency: The vendor shall deliver the cryogenic gases under the following schedule:
3.2.1 Liquid Nitrogen: Delivery three (3) times per week, up to 3000 gallons per delivery. Automatic fill may also occur on an as needed basis if vendor uses a telemetry tracking system. Tank fill level must not fall below 900 gallons, approximately 30% of the total tank capacity.
3.2.2 Liquid Argon: Delivery three (3) times per week, up to 300 gallons per delivery. Automatic fill may also occur on an as needed basis if vendor uses a telemetry tracking system. Tank fill level must not fall below 100 gallons, approximately 30% of the total tank capacity.
3.3 Contractor is responsible for delivery, connection, and transfer of all material to the Government owned cryogenic gas storage vessels.
3.4 Contractor will provide documentation to indicate the date of servicing, cryogenic gas delivered, and the quantity of material delivered.
3.5 LOCATION OF SERVICES: Services shall be performed at NUWC Keyport, Washington. Hours of service to be: 0800 to 1500 Monday through Friday excluding Federal Holidays.
3.5.1 Liquid Nitrogen will be delivered to existing tank outside NUWC Keyport
Bldg. 98
3.5.2 Liquid Argon will be delivered to existing tank outside NUWC Keyport
Bldg. 84
4. CONTRACT MONITORING: The Government will monitor contract performance and conformance by the Government Technical Point of Contact who will be provided at time of award.
