The supplies or services must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit and function) with existing systems presently installed/performing. Describe the equipment/function you have now and how the new item/service must coordinate, connect, or interface with the existing system.
The United States Naval Observatory (USNO) is the authoritative source of time for the Department of Defense. For this purpose, -performing atomic clocks that is used to generate precise time. Because of the lack of commercial vendors for the highest performing clocks, stocking the clock ensemble with systems based on cutting-edge technology requires that these systems be designed and built in-house to fit within the existing system. AdvR, Inc. is the only vendor that can meet the technical requirements of this acquisition.
A patent, copyright, or proprietary data limits competition.
These are "direct replacement" parts/components for existing equipment.
