The Naval Supply (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA intends to negotiate a brand name Firm Fixed Price (FFP) procurement action for onsite semi-annual preventive maintenance services; software updates and telephone support for troubleshooting and technical assistance, FLIR replacement parts, calibration, and quality checks for MailPoint CBRNE Detection Equipment: Griffin 824 (# 824-00108); Biological Air Sampling Detection BIOXC (#EX4406); Griffin 625 (# 625-00102), and IdentiFinder S900 (# DU 203.2-NG) for the NAVSUP FLCN Detachment Naval District Washington (NDW) Postal Division, 2822 Doherty Drive, SW, Suite 1000, Building 94, Joint Base Anacostia Bolling Washington (JBAB), DC 20373-5899. The services will be acquired utilizing procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance and the size standard is $7.5M.

Period of performance (POP): 8 January 2019 - 7 January 2020; plus, two one-year option periods: Option Year 1: 8 January 2020 - 7 January 2021, and Option Year 2: 8 January 2021 - 7 January 2022

A complete Request for Quote (RFQ) package will be available for downloading at the NECO Website: https://www.neco.navy.mil or HTTP://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 4 December 2018. Potential vendors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above web sites. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-999-227-8220, or via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
