The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting

Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392, intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity contract with firm fixed pricing for MKVI boat launch, storage and relaunch services for Coastal Riverine

Group Two (CRG-2) using the policies and procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 -

Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This requirement will be solicited as full and open competition. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 532490.

The size standard is $32.5 million. Sources sought notice N0018918R0056 was posted on 20 March 2018.

The small business professional concurs with the resulting acquisition strategy.

CRG-2 requires removal and storage of MKVI boats during destructive weather and relaunch once destructive weather passes. The requirement is for a five (5) year ordering period, as well as an option of a six-month extension of services provided under FAR 52.217-8.

The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. THE SOLICITATION IS NOT YET AVAILABLE. Once available, the solicitation will be posted to this site Navy Electronic Commerce Online or (NECO). The solicitation is expected to be available on or about 04 June 2018. The NECO website has a “submit bid” button next to the solicitation number. DO

NOT use the “submit bid” button on NECO to submit a quotation.

A complete RFQ package will be available by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows:

Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will NOT issue hard copy solicitations.

By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
