STATEMENT OF WORK
UNHOLTZ DICKIE CORP. AMPLIFIER EXPANSION
1.0 BACKGROUND
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Weapons System Test Range Ops & Data Acq Branch (E45) has a requirement to expand current capabilities by procuring one (1) power amplifier expansion which would upgrade the current amplifier to a 480 KVA capacity. The requirement is that the system is fully compatible with our existing power amplifier.

3.0 REQUIREMENTS
| 3.1 | The contractor shall accept existing the USG 240 KVA amplifier at their factory. Upon delivery of existing amplifier, the contractor will integrate the 240 KVA expansion module netting a 480 KVA final amplifier and perform factory testing of the new 480 KVA amplifier. The integration and testing shall be completed in 6 weeks after receipt of current USG 240 KVA amplifier. USG is responsible for shipping from Dahlgren, VA to Contractor’s Factory. The contractor is responsible for return shipping from their factory to Dahlgren, VA. Contractor shall coordinate with Navy TPOC 3 weeks prior to the need date of the existing USG 240 KVA amplifier. In summary, the contractor shall deliver one (1) Power Amplifier Expansion to 480 KVA (2-bay console) per the plan outlined in this paragraph. |
| 3.2 | The contractor shall deliver the system to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Dahlgren, VA 22448 not later than eleven (11) months after award of contract. |
3.3 The contractor shall provide system set-up, interface analysis, start-up, and training at NSWCDD, Dahlgren, VA.
3.4 The contractor shall install and perform operational check of the entire system at the Dahlgren, VA facility. USG understands they will provide labor and necessary equipment to off-load the amplifier from shipping service’s vehicle and provide personnel to connect amplifier to existing facility power grid. Contractor will provide oversight and expertise in inspecting installation, perform the initial power up and take USG through the fully commissioning of equipment.
3.5 The contractor shall provide on-site operational training for selected NSWCDD Personnel to include general operation training and software training.
3.6 The installation and training shall occur over a two (2) working day period.
3.7 The contractor shall coordinate installation and training with the Government Technical Point of Contact at least 10 days in advance of installation and training.
3.8 The Contractor shall provide each Contractor employee with the personal protective equipment required to do their job safely and in compliance with all applicable regulations.
3.9 All Contractor personnel shall maintain social distancing and wear a facemask at all times while onsite at the NSWCDD base until notified otherwise by the government.
4.0 TRAVEL
The contractor will be required to travel in performance of this contract, specifically for completion of all startup and training activities. The number of trips and types of personnel traveling shall be limited to the minimum required to accomplish work requirements and shall be coordinated with the technical point of contact. All travel shall be conducted in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR). The following travel is anticipated: one (1) contractor personnel to Dahlgren, VA. for two (2) days.
