DECISION SUPPORT CENTER (DSC)
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
1.0 BACKGROUND
The requiring activity is the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Weapons Control and Integration Department (Code H). Update of the current Decision Support Center (DSC) is required in order to support meetings, conferences, and communications across the department. The current DSC configuration is outdated and cannot support new communication technologies like Microsoft TEAMs meetings.
Delivery is required by 30 days after receipt of order (ARO).
2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 Bldg 1460 Room 1108 DSC Layout Drawing
3.0 REQUIREMENTS
3.l The contractor shall participate in a site visit in order to identify and provide materials and labor for installation of one (1) DSC in building 1460 room 1108 at NSWCDD in Dahlgren, Virginia.
3.2 The contractor shall provide each contractor employee with the personal protective equipment required to do their job safely and in compliance with all applicable regulations.
3.3 The contractor shall provide all required hardware to fully implement the DSC to allow for meetings, conferences, and communications.
3.3.1 The contractor shall provide all required cabling, connectors, wiring, speakers, microphones, controls, equipment along with any other miscellaneous materials required for integration and installation of a complete system.
3.4 The contractor shall program all equipment and test all
equipment to ensure the DSC is working as intended.
3.4.1 The contractor shall give basic user training to the
technical point of contact identified below.
3.5 The contractor shall ensure all work is performed in
accordance with (IAW) applicable Local, State, and Federal safety, electrical, and building codes.
3.6 The contractor shall protect Government property from
damage or disfigurement.
3.7 The contractor shall keep all supplies, equipment, and
tools out of traffic lanes or other areas where they may create a hazard.
3.8 At the end of each work period, the contractor shall secure all supplies, equipment and tools.
3.9 The contractor shall perform all work during normal working hours of 0800-1700, Monday through Friday.
3.10 The contract shall provide all operating manuals IAW
industry standards.
3.11 The contractor shall coordinate all work with the technical point of contact identified below.
4.0 GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED PROPERTY/MATERIAL/INFORMATION
(GFP/GFM/GFI)
4.1 The Government will provide access to the building and room required for work completion.
5.0 TRAVEL
The contractor will be required to travel in performance of this contract. The number of trips and types of personnel traveling shall be limited to the minimum required to accomplish work requirements and shall be coordinated with the technical point of contact. All travel shall be conducted in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR). The following travel is anticipated: Three (3) personnel for the period of performance at the NSWCDD located in Dahlgren, Virginia.
