Question & Answers
1. What will the load will be for the application and if any motors in the load in order to quote the frequency convertor?
ANSWER: The load will have some DC motors powered by AC-DC power converters and transformer rectifier units. Other loads in the system powered on the AC side will be battery chargers.
2. Does the frequency converter require to be provided with an input circuit breaker?
ANSWER: The building will provide circuit protection on the input, either circuit breaker or fuses, based on the manufacturer's recommendations.
3. Does the frequency converter require to be provided with an output circuit breaker to feed a panel or an output contactor to feed directly to a load?
ANSWER: Output contactor to feed the load
4. Is the output 200WYE115 volts 3 phase or 200DELTA1155 volts 3 phase.
ANSWER: 200WYE115 volts 3-phase
5. Does the unit have to meet MIL-STD-704F or UFGS 2 35 43 Standards?
ANSWER: Meet MIL-STD-704F
