INTERFEROMETER SYSTEM PROCUREMENT

STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

1.0 BACKGROUND

This SOW covers the scope of required deliverables for a commercially developed, turn-key interferometer system with required accessories. The interferometer system and accessories are commercial items with a mature production history, and no non-recurring engineering (NRE) is required to support delivery of the required deliverables. The system will enhance the Navy’s laser system development and test capabilities.

3.0REQUIREMENTS
3.1The contractor shall provide one (1) Interferometer System, manufactured by Zygo Corporation, which consists of the following:

3.2The contractor shall deliver the system to the NSWCDD located in Dahlgren, Virginia.
3.3The contractor shall provide Zygo qualified personnel to install and commission the system.
3.4The contractor shall ensure the system operates IAW OEM specifications.
3.5The contractor shall provide one-day of system training and applications development for up to five (5) personnel at the NSWCDD.
3.6The contractor shall coordinate with the technical point of contact identified below to complete all work to be provided under this SOW.
4.0TRAVEL

The contractor will be required to travel in performance of this contract. The number of trips and types of personnel traveling shall be limited to the minimum required to accomplish work requirements and shall be coordinated with the technical point of contact. All travel shall be conducted in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR). The following travel is anticipated: Two (2) personnel for two (2) days to NSWCDD to perform installation, commissioning, and training services.
