Responses to Questions

1. What is the application of this system?

We run government proprietary windows based applications.

2. What Operating System is it running?

Currently running WIN 7, but will be migrating to WIN 10 64 bit in the very near future.

3. Are the Firewire ports necessary?

No, they are not.

4. What type of graphics outputs do you need the video card to have (how many displays and what type does it need to support)?

Dual DVI outputs.

5. Can we send equivalent configuration instead? If yes, what motherboard chipset will be acceptable? Also the chassis, can this be substituted?

The material listed on the specifications have been tested and certified to work with our proprietary applications. Any substitutions would require recertification by the government. Vendors must be able to provide the material as listed on the specification sheet.

The chassis depth has to be 19 3/4".

The chassis front width has to be 19".

The chassis has to vent from front to rear (rear exhaust).

The chassis has to have metal handles.

The mounting screws have to be centered from top to bottom.

The chassis mounting screws have to be at 4", 7 5/8", 11 5/8", 15 1/2" and 17 7/8" measured from the front.

6. For the bid for Rackmount servers the .EVGA GeForce GT 740 Graphic Card - 1.09 GHz Core - 1 GB GDDR5 - PCI Express 3.0 x16 Video Card has been discontinued do you the Preferred replacement unit?

Yes, the preferred replacement video card would be acceptable.

7. Will equivalent products to the specifications be accepted?

Must match exactly to the specifications provided

8. Can we submit one or two different scenarios of upgraded parts that would be considered compatible or will you provide us with a list of alternate configurations that you would prefer to have substituted?

No substitutions, must match exact specifications provided
