STATEMENT OF WORK
ANTENNA MEASUREMENT POSITIONER UPGRADE
STATEMENT OF WORK
1.0 INTRODUCTION
Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Asymmetric Systems Division (H10) is tasked to support testing operations using the Tapered Anechoic Chamber (TAC). Current tasking requires H10 to conduct Positioning, Navigation, and Timing testing of Global Positioning System (GPS) systems utilizing P(Y)-code and m-code signals.
The Tapered Anechoic Chamber is a Radio Frequency (RF) test facility. The Spectracom GPS simulator is a piece of equipment that is used within this facility and is required to support various efforts for federal DOD and non-DOD systems. The upgrades to the GPS will allow H10 to communicate and simulate via the new congressionally mandated M-code protocol and to test new M-code capable GPS devices in an RF isolated environment. The GPS simulator requires upgrades to the hardware and software to support these new testing requirements.
