STATEMENT OF WORK
Statement of Work for Multifunctional Information Distribution System – Low Volume Terminal (MIDS-LVT) RT1840 equipment
Repair Services
1. Scope This Statement of Work (SOW) sets forth the requirements for Repair Services for the Multifunctional Information Distribution System – Low Volume Terminal (MIDS-LVT) RT1840 equipment in support of the Littoral Surveillance Radar System (LSRS) Program.
1.1 Background
The MIDS-LVT is a system currently on U.S. Navy P-3 aircraft and is installed on LSRS configured aircraft to provide platform situational awareness. It integrates track data from on-board sensors with off-board data to provide a tactical picture for the operator. In conjunction with other equipment the MIDS-LVT provides the LSRS aircraft connectivity with Battle Field Commanders creating a fused picture of the battlespace. The picture is used by both the source aircrew and the commanders to make decisions based on real-time situational awareness. This data can also be sent to other war fighters, ground units, or battle management entities making it an invaluable asset to theater operations.
3.0 Requirements
The contractor shall provide Repair Services of MIDS-LVT. The contractor shall provide effort including labor, material and facilities that may be required to repair and /or modify repairable assemblies. The repairable assemblies will be identified by manufacturer’s part number and serial number. The work to be performed involves access to and handling of classified material up to and including "SECRET."
5.0 Period of Performance
Work shall be completed sixty days after contract award.
