About this file
This statement of work outlines requirements for the installation of two modular power distribution units at the Naval Research Laboratory. The contractor shall provide and install two APC PDPM150G6F modular PDUs with 144kVA capacity, 72 poles, and 2 subfeeds each. The PDUs must have 480V 3-phase input voltage, 208V 3-phase output voltage, isolation transformers, and SNMP cards compatible with StruxureWare Data Center Expert for remote monitoring. The contractor must also install two new breakers in an existing 480V distribution panel to feed the new PDUs, and run new wiring from the panel to the PDUs using existing conduit. All electrical components and connections must be installed according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications. The contractor shall conduct tests to verify proper functioning of the electrical connections and PDU operation within required parameters.
The related federal contract opportunity is solicitation number N0017323Q0244 from the Department of the Navy Secretary of the Navy Office of Naval Research to procure the power distribution units and installation outlined in the statement of work.

REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTALLATION OF MODULAR POWER DISTRIBUTION UNITS
1. Introduction The Cyber Operations Division at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) located at 4555 Overlook Ave SW, Washington DC, has a requirement to install two Modular Power Distribution Units (PDUs) as part of its ongoing efforts to replace antiquated computer room infrastructure and address the growing need for increased power capacity. The PDUs will enhance power distribution capabilities, improve energy efficiency, and ensure the scalability and reliability of the computer room infrastructure that supports critical systems at NRL.
1. Scope The Contractor shall furnish all parts, labor, transportation, materials and supplies required to install two (2) new APC/Schneider Electric Modular PDUs (Part Number: PDPM150G6F) and all associated breakers, wiring, and related components. The new PDUs must be American Power Conversion (APC)/ Schneider Electric brand to ensure compatibility and seamless integration with the existing infrastructure equipment in the room. The use of APC PDUs will not only match NRL’s current infrastructure but also prevent the need for extensive room modifications or reconfigurations. Furthermore, the Contractor must be an authorized reseller and/or installer of APC/Schneider Electric.
1. Requirements The Contractor shall provide and install all necessary electrical components, including electrical feeds, breakers, wiring, conduit, fittings, and associated materials, to connect each of the new PDUs to existing 480V UPS supported power distribution panels. All components must be installed in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications to ensure optimal performance and proper functioning of the new PDUs. Additionally, the Contractor must conduct all required tests and inspections to verify that the electrical connections and related components are functioning properly and that the units are operating within the required performance parameters.
The new PDUs must meet the following minimum specifications:
· Provide and install two APC PDPM150G6F Modular Power Distribution Units with the following specifications
· Capacity: 144kVA, 72 Poles, 2 Subfeed
· Input Voltage: 480V, 3-phase
· Output Voltage: 208V, 3-phase
· Isolation Transformer
· Remote Monitoring: Equipped with SNMP card that will enable real-time and historic monitoring and must be compatible with StruxureWare Data Center Expert
· Must be compatible with APC Power Distribution Modules (PDMs)
· Provide and install two new breakers into existing 480V distribution panelboard to feed two new 144 kVA PDUs
· Provide and install new wiring from 480V distribution panelboard/new breakers to two new 144 kVA PDUs (Utilize existing conduit at 480V DPP to pull box directly above ceiling)
· Ensure that PDUs are properly grounded and bonded to existing system per NEC and NRL standard
Exclusions
· EPO wiring and connections
· Conduit from existing 480V distribution panelboard/new breakers to pull box directly above ceiling
· 208/120V distribution from new PDUs
