STATEMENT OF WORK

DATE: 2 May 2020

SCOPE: The Government requires a test facility to perform Production Environmental Testing (PET) on Missile Electronics Box (MEB) and Hazard Electronics Box (HEB) which includes Random Vibration in accordance with the below requirements.

TEST EQUIPMENT:

1. The Government will provide the necessary Acceptance Test Equipment (ATE) to perform all required measurements in accordance with MEB Acceptance Test Requirements (ATR), drawing 8660515 table 4.3 and HEB ATR, drawing 8660518 table 4.3.

2. Due to constraints of test equipment, only one unit at a time can be tested.

3. ATE requires standard 115VAC, 60hz power.

4. The Government will provide mounting fixture to perform Random Vibration testing.

5. The Government will provide all cabling required for interface between

MEB/HEB and ATE.

6. The government will provide guidance/training on the operation and/or procedure to follow to perform ATR.

QUANTITY: Four hundred thirty two (432) units are to be tested over the course of approximately 43 weeks. The Government will deliver ten (10) units per week after award. See attached drawing 8660400 and 8660450 for size and dimensions

RANDOM VIBRATION REQUIREMENTS:

Tri-Axial Random Vibration:

Use of the tri-axial random vibration system capable of providing excitation to the unit in three axes simultaneously with quasi-random force.. Units undergoing tri-axial random vibration shall do so for at least a ten (10) minute period in a powered on condition with selected functional tests/checks performed while monitoring critical inputs and outputs during vibration. The tri-axial vibration device shall be set-up and adjusted such that the unit is subjected to at least 6 grms average vector sum acceleration level over the frequency range of 20 -10/+30 Hz to 2000 ±200 Hz (Figure 1). The unit shall be rigidly mounted to its mounting fixture during vibration to obtain full effect of the force transmissibility into the unit over the total frequency range.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

The test facility must be accredited by A2LA to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.

The Government will provide shipping of equipment and units under test to and from facility.

The Government will provide onsite technical support to operate equipment being tested for the first 10 units. After completion of first 10 units, test facility to provide all required labor to support testing of remaining 422 units.

The equipment shall be function as normal after testing.

Test report must be delivered within two weeks of completion of testing.

o Report should be delivered in MS Word or PDF format o Report should include a description for each test, unit description, unit serial number, disposition/comments/recommendations, test equipment type and calibration, and photographs

Quote should be good for at least 90 days.
