About this file
The document provided contains Material Ordering Data Sheets for MIL-DTL-1222, a general specification for studs, bolts, screws, and nuts requiring a high degree of reliability. The sheets detail the part numbers, configurations, sizes, threads, and other specifications for nickel alloy bolts and alloy steel nuts that meet the requirements of this specification. The intended use of these fasteners is for general, high temperature, high strength, and corrosive environment applications.
The related federal contract opportunity is for the procurement of BOLT, HEAVY HEX manufactured in accordance with the MIL-DTL-1222 specification. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under commercial and simplified acquisition procedures. The resultant award will be a firm fixed-price supply contract for FOB Destination delivery to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, WA. Interested offerors must provide pricing, manufacturer information, and complete required representations and certifications.
