MARKET RESEARCH QUESTIONNAIRE

MOBILE DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES-FDC MIAMI

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. The service is for the provision of Mobile Diagnostic Services. The services will be provided at the Federal Detention Center (hereinafter referred to as FDC) Miami, Florida.

The physical address is 33 NE 4th Street, Miami, Florida 33132. The Contract years shall consist of one 12 months base year with four 12 months option years for renewal. The Government contemplates awarding a Contract with firm fixed unit prices. The NAICS Code is 621512. The Standard size is $19.0 million.

On-site Diagnostic Services will be provided by the Contractor; the contractor will bring diagnostic equipment inside the institution to perform Ultrasounds Studies (Abdominal, Echocardiograms, Vascular Doppler), Nerve Conduction Velocity Studies (upper extremity or lower extremity) and 24-hour Holter Monitor Studies. Contractor will also provide a Mobile truck to FDC to perform onsite diagnostic MRI and CT-scans.

Off-Site Diagnostic Services will be provided in a local medical diagnostic facility. Services performed will be as follows: Nuclear Test, Fluoroscopy, Mammograms (Males), Pulmonary Function Test, Bone Densitometer, Stress Thallium Test, Bone or Joint Scans, Intravenous Pyelogram/Urography studies, PET Scans and Sleep Disorder Tests. X-ray interpretations shall be provided as required.

The contractor will be responsible for equipment transportation, delivery and set up at facility, tractors, trailers, drivers, complete maintenance/service coverage on all equipment, training and staffing insurance, site planning and consultation, marketing, support, etc.

The mobile Imaging capabilities shall allow the operator to readily complete approximately 5 to 20 patients per session, based upon the previously required services. The number of patients requiring services will determine the length of session. Specifically, it is undeterminable at this point to estimate the number of patients that will be seen. Only those services performed and properly invoiced are paid for the FDC Miami.
