M67400-17-T-0053 Sorting line Conveyor with Installation and Training

The followings are a list of the potential offeror’s questions and the government’s response to those questions.

Question 1): What products does the Government recycle?

For example: PET/ OCC/HDPE

Answer: PETE/PET plastic, newsprint, magazine, cardboard, aluminum/steel can, various types of scrap metals, expended brass, lead-acid battery, glass, and used oil. (Those are the commodities handled by the MCIPAC MCB Butler Qualified Recycling Program)

Question 2): what is the % breakdown of products recycle and their tonnages?

Answer: [FY16 Data, in US ton] Paper (252, 11%) Cardboard (1057, 44%)

Expended brass (95, 4%) Metals (676, 28%) PET/PETE plastic (53, 2% Glass (246, 10%)
