M67400-16-T-0025 Requirement: Paper Baler Relocation Questions and Answers:

Q1) Can the government provide all the drawings relating to the area where the Baler is to be located Example) Electrical, water lines and area sizes and proposed baler layout?

A1) Please see attached. Attachment A-1, 2 & 3

Q2) During the meeting it was mentioned that there may be additional parts requiring replacement not previously identified or that maybe found to be bad during the tear down phase but there is no mention of how these parts will be paid for. Can there be a provision in the contract to identify how the government intends to handle this issue.

A2) The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring the baler is operational at the new location and will be responsible for any additional parts to make it operational. The baler is operational at the site of origin and should be operational after it is moved.

Q3) After discussions and on-site inspection of the new building is it possible to allow a second site visit so I can bring the manufacturer to look and verify that there is enough room to accommodate the installation of the baler in the new building?

A3) Second Site Visit shall be conducted as follows:

Q4) How thick is the concrete in the area where the bailer is to be installed?

A4) Please see attached. Attachment B-1, 2 & 3
