M67400-16-T-0009 Parachute Operations Training
The followings are a list of the potential offeror’s questions and the government’s response to those questions.
Question 1): The SOW specifically calls for a CASA 212. However, the C-23 Sherpa is used for all parachute operations, including the DBSL configuration during the MMPC in Coolidge, AZ. Would the C-23 Sherpa be an acceptable alternative to the CASA 212 for this course/contract?
Answer: Yes, a C23 SHERPA is acceptable.
Question 2: If we don’t have Billeting on the Grounds where the training will be conducted can we quote providing hotel rooms and transportation from the rooms to the training grounds?
Answer: Lodging does not need to be on the grounds. An alternative may be provided at a distance not to exceed (3) miles.
Question 3: Does the liaison need to present for the full length of the training?
Answer: Yes, the liaison must be present for the duration.
Question 4: Will there be a C-130 used for other aspect of the course or are you looking at getting military air to replace the 60 CASA hours?
Answer: There will be a C130 for aspect of the training. At this time it is NOT intended to replace the 60 hours.
