The Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office, Quantico, VA has a requirement to procure (1) Waterjet Cutting System.

In response to the sources sought for this requirement, two (2) small businesses submitted capability statements. Of the 2 small businesses receiving consideration, one was a SB and the other was a WOSB. Only the (1) WOSB was found to be capable of performing the requirement.

The requirement will be solicited unrestricted via Federal Business Opportunities (FBO).

This requirement is being solicited as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12. This acquisition will result in the award of a firm fixed price contract.

Award will be based on the conforming offer that is considered the "Lowest Price, Technically Accepatble" to the Government. Evaluation will consist of the criteria specified within Addendum 2, 52-212-2 within the solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333515. The small business size standard for this code is 500.

This RFQ will be made available electronically upon its release at the Federal Business Opportunities website at https://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies, faxed copies, or e-mail copies of the solicitation will not be provided. All requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be disregarded. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the above website for posting of the RFQ and any amendments thereto. Questions and answers, if required, will be posted to this site as well. It is the offeror’s responsibility to check this web site for all information related to this procurement. Submission of the RFQ must be in accordance with the solicitation instructions. If applicable, all amendments must be acknowledged. All offerors must be registered in the Systems for Award Management (Reference DFARS 252.204-7004, required Systems for Award Management, www.sam.gov) in order to receive award consideration.
