M00263‐15‐T‐0016 Q & A

20150605

1. If a site other than Nemours Wildlife Foundation is secured with appropriate habitat, are there permits in place already for the capture and translocation of the Southern Fox Squirrels and the Eastern Wild Turkeys? Or, would that all have to be coordinated with the State Agency prior to submission of a bid?

Ans. No. Permission from the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) is the responsibility of the contractor for whatever property is used for the translocations regardless of whether it is Nemours or an alternate location. SCDNR will have to approve of the site, the animals to be removed, and translocation to and from the property.

2. Can the timelines be adjusted in the proposal to gain the necessary approvals?

Ans. The Due Date for quote will be extended to 19 June 2015.

3. Number 11, the Place of Performance on the SOW still lists Nemours ‐ I assume that would be changed pending approval of some other site?

Ans. Revised SOW removing reference to Nemours will be provided.
