Technical Support to Upgrade and Update Telecommuniations System and Voicemail Software, Hardware and Firmware for Buildings 137, 4470 and 4841

Questions Received and the Government’s Response

Q1. Can the Government provide historic workload from the incumbent contract?

a. Within the historical, can the Government break out the percentage of remote vs. on-site (e.g., touch labor) workload?

Gov’t response: 85-90 percent is remote.

b. Approximately how may calls are made to the contractor's remote help desk each year?

Gov’t response: Around 5.

c. Approximately how many of those calls result in the need for on-site support?

Gov’t response: 1 or 2.

Q2. Does the Government require full-time on-site contractor staff? Or is remote and on-call touch labor sufficient?

Gov’t response: Full-time on site staff is not required. However see paragraphs 5.0, 6.0 and 7.0 for remote and on-site support requirements.

Q3. Can the Government provide the Ayaya Sold To Numbers and Serial numbers associated with the following equipment:

· Option 81 located in Building 137; three ancillary switches

· Option 11 C switch located in Building 4470 (all with call pilot voicemail).

· Option 61C with AS5300 voicemail located in Building 4841

Gov’t response: The Sold to Numbers and Serial Numbers that are being requested as stated above are for software, which should not be applicable. Sold To Numbers are normally proprietary to the original vendor in which the software was procured.

Q4. Is this equipment covered under an existing contract? If so, please provide the contract number.

Gov’t response: This equipment is currently covered under an existing contract. The current provider is Locust Hill Consulting and Technology.
