Vendor questions about ground testing

-On page 3 of 37 there are 3 CLINs. One is for the base, and there are 2 options. Are these option years, or some other measure like single events? These are options years.

-On page 4 of 37 all of the analytical parameters are listed, along with quantities. Are these quantities per event or total? If per event, how many events are there per year or CLIN? The quantities refer to the total number of events over the contract period of one year.

-On page 4 of 37, chronic toxicity bioassay...what is the maximum hold time for that analysis? The maximum holding time for bioassay is 48 hours.

-On page 4 of 37, are all the analytical parameters mentioned and quantities collected during a single event, or several sampling events over time? There are several sampling events over time (one year).

-On page 5 of 37, bullet "e" it mentions "make all arrangements for the pick up of the samples...". Does this mean to just provide courier service to pick up the completed bottles, or does this mean to actually collect the samples and also provide courier service? Provide a courier service to pick up the completed bottles. The MCAS laboratory collects the samples.

-Can a consulting firm bid on this and hire a large certified laboratory to conduct the testing, or can only laboratories themselves bid on this solicitation? If the laboratory does not provide for a specific test, then they shall sub-contract to a laboratory that does, provided the sub-contracted laboratory has the North Carolina certification for the specific test.
