PRE-SOLICIATION ANNOUNCEMENT

Department of Interior, Bureau of Land Management, California State Office, has two requirements for AML Remediation the locations for these projects are Cargo Mountains, Imperial County, and Silver Mountains, San Bernardino County, California.

The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, facilities, equipment, materials, supplies, and services (except as may be expressly set forth in this Request for Proposals (RPF) as furnished by the Government to remediate physical safety hazards associated with Abandoned Mine Lands (AML).

The projects are set-aside for small business under competitive procedures and the Contractor can submit an offer on one or both projects. The NAICS code is 238990 (CONSTRUCTION OF OTHER NON-BUILDING FACILITIES); size standard is $15.0 million.

The solicitation will be posted NLT June 22, 2015. Please do not ask for additional information pertaining to this opportunity until the solicitation is posted.

Firm-fixed price contract(s) will be awarded based on the RFP’s terms and condition, with an estimated period of performance is one year from date of the notice to proceed.

There will be a Pre-Solicitation Meeting and Site Tour for each location, Cargo Mountains is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30, 2015.

The Contracting Officers Representative and Technical Advisor will be meeting with Prospective Contractors at the Gold Rock Ranch & Tumco exit, located on the east side of Ogilby Road, Tumco CA, and departing for site tour at 9:00 a.m. And, Silver Mountains is scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, 2015.

The Contracting Officers Technical Representative and Technical Advisor will be meeting with Prospective Contractors at the Dale Evans Exit on the west side of I-15, Victorville CA, and departing for site tour at 10:00 a.m.
