About this file
This document is a justification for a sole source acquisition by the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation. It seeks to acquire 24 Raytheon Technologies Corp NSN 77445 and 52661 parts and 24 Beta Engineering Inc NSN 92830 parts for a total estimated value of $3,926,641.85 under a firm fixed price contract with a 3 year base period and a 2 year option period. The justification cites 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) for restricting competition to a limited number of sources, identifying Raytheon Technologies Corp and Beta Engineering Inc as the only sources known to have the capability to furnish the required parts. A sources sought notice was posted on June 28, 2021 and completed on July 6, 2021, with Beta Engineering Inc indicating interest. The acquisition will be synopsized on or about August 2, 2021 with a draft synopsis attached, and the RFP will be posted to DIBBS on or about August 17, 2021.
