The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a brand name procurement action for the procurement of the following items:
The Contractor shall provide the following:
CLIN 0001: PECI Floatation Support System TFSS-5326 PECI with C02 Covert Coyote Pouch (SKU: TFSS-5326-C-CO2-COY) tan color pouch with Black bladder.
This requirement is accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b) - “Soliciting from a single source”.
PECI Floatation, LLC is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the PECI Floatation Support System TFSS-5326 PECI with C02 Covert Coyote Pouch (SKU: TFSS-5326-C-CO2- COY) tan color pouch with Black bladder which is required equipment per Air Force (AF) Pararescue and Combat Rescue Officer Operations to perform their duties. PECI Floatation, LLC has identified a limited number of distributors as third party providers for this equipment; all equipment must be purchased through the OEM. This is a notice of intent to award a brand name procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge this brand name action must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm’s technical expertise, certifications and authorization to compete for this acquisition as an authorized provider for this equipment. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
