About this file
This document is a Certificate of Insurance Requirements for Standard City Contracts issued by the City of West Sacramento, California. The form outlines comprehensive insurance coverage requirements for vendors and contractors seeking to do business with the city, specifically for standard city contracts. The document details mandatory insurance coverages including Commercial General Liability ($1,000,000 per occurrence), Commercial Automobile Liability ($1,000,000 per accident), Workers' Compensation (per statutory requirements), and Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions) of $1,000,000 per claim if applicable.
The insurance requirements mandate that all policies (except Workers' Compensation and Professional Liability) must name the City of West Sacramento as an additional insured, with a required Additional Insured Endorsement equivalent to CG 2010 0714. The document also specifies that certificates must provide 30 days' written notice prior to any cancellation or material change, and requires endorsements such as Primary and Non-Contributory status and Separation of Insureds. Vendors must attach a copy of the Additional Insured Endorsement to their Certificate of Insurance, and the certificate will be considered incomplete without this documentation. The form is designed to ensure comprehensive protection for the city and its officials, employees, agents, and volunteers across various potential contractual engagements.
