Market research for this effort consisted of a survey of the commercial marketplace through internet searches. A request for information was posted to GSA eBuy on June 16, 2016 requesting information from vendors that could supply computer hard drive degausser and destruction devices. NETCENTS 2 research showed the NAICS code for the destruction devices would not be within scope of the NetCentric products contracts. The market research tool on NASA SEWP was used to determine the availability of products, and zero of the items requested in this procurement are currently items offered by NASA SEWP contract holders.
