SOLICITATION: HSFEHQ-10-R-0001
EMERGENCY FUEL SERVICES
DECEMBER 3, 2009
The following are questions and answers regarding solicitation #HSFEHQ-10-R-0001 for EMERGENCY FUEL SERVICES.
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
1. In Section B.1 Price/Cost Schedule, does unit price proposed by contractor need to be multiplied by a specific quantity for each item number?
Yes. This is a Fixed Price-Economic Price Adjustment, Indefinite Quantity Contract. The Economic Price Adjustment pertains only to the actual per gallon cost of gas and diesel (Items 1-12). The actual price would be the market price per gallon in effect at the time of delivery times the quantity. However, items 13-15 (tanker rental charges) should be firm fixed price (multiplying unit price by quantity).
2. In Section D there is a Closing Date of December 14, 2009 at 9:00 am. Is this date that proposal needs to be submitted or is the due date for submission of proposals 1/4/10 as stated in the block 20 on form 1449?
Proposals are due no later than January 4, 2010 by 10:00 am as stated in block 20 of form 1449.
