Office of Border Patrol Laredo Sector Statement of Work (SOW)
PR#20070783
Mission:
The mission of the U.S. Border Patrol is to detect, identify and apprehend terrorists, terrorist weapons, including and preventing Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) from entering the United States of America. The Border Patrol enforces the immigration laws of the United States of America and also interdicts narcotics and contraband, and assists local, state and federal agencies. Laredo Sector is composed of the Sector Headquarters facility and other remote offices.
Project Background:
Freer Station Hwy 59 has oversight of one (1) tactical checkpoint with no direct connection to a potable water source. While the water source is used for janitorial and bathroom use, unsafe levels of arsenic and other metallic compounds are routinely documented by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
Hebbronville Station has oversight over three (3) tactical checkpoints. Hwy 16, FM1017 & Hwy 359 - located in isolated areas with no direct connections to potable water sources.
Laredo North Station has oversight over one (1) tactical checkpoint.
Laredo West Station has oversight over one (1) tactical checkpoint. 24478 U.S. Highway 83 North - located in an isolated area with no connection to a direct water source. While the water source is used for janitorial and bathroom use, unsafe levels of arsenic and other metallic compounds are routinely documented by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
Bottled water is purchased for these checkpoints for health safety hydration purposes.
Description of Services:
· Provide 5-gallon drinking bottle water delivery to the locations listed under “usage sites” below
· Provide weekly deliveries to Hebbronville checkpoints, Laredo North checkpoint, and Laredo West checkpoint; delivery for Freer checkpoint will be every three weeks
· Provide and maintain storage bins for bottled water; replace, exchange and/or dispose of broken storage bins
· Provide monthly billing itemizing amount of bottles being delivered to each location
· If applicable, please include bottle deposit charge
· Accept orders from identified points of contact as listed below under “usage sites” on an as needed basis with no additional Fuel Service Charge
· Accept payment method via Credit Card on a Net 30 days basis Usage Sites:
