4.1.1 The types and amounts of wastes listed in 3.5 are estimates of waste to be disposed of under this contract as required by 2.4. They are not estimates of the amount of the work involved in generating that waste. The work requirements of each individual Work Item specify the actual work to be accomplished.
4.2 Hazardous wastes are determined by one or more of the following methods:
4.2.1 Chemical analysis which shows that the material
characteristics of ignitability, corrosivity, reactivity, and/or toxicity (Toxicity Characteristic Leachate Procedure - TCLP) exceed the limits for that material in 40 CFR 261.20 Subpart C.
4.2.2 Reference to a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
4.2.3 Applying knowledge of the hazardous characteristics of the waste in light of the materials or the process used.
4.3 Asbestos, bilge water, oil/water including sludge, debris and other contaminants, sludge which includes solids and sludge from ballast tanks, CHT tanks, voids, oily waste tanks, fuel ballast tanks, fuel oil tanks, skegs (West coast), PCB's (Maryland), etc., apply only in those states listing them as hazardous waste. When an availability is to be performed in a state where these items are hazardous waste, an estimate of the amount to be generated shall be included in 3.5.

3. REQUIREMENTS:
3.1 All removed fasteners shall be replaced with new corrosion resistant steel (CRES), ASTM A276, Type 316 fasteners, unless otherwise specified.
All nuts shall be self-locking type, unless otherwise specified. One CRES washer shall be used under each bolt head and under each nut. Bolt/stud length shall not exceed less than 1-1/2 threads or more than 5 threads beyond the nut with full thread engagement for each vessel listed in 1.3.
3.1.1 Apply anti-seize compound, Loctite 34026 marine grade anti-seize or equal to all stainless-steel threaded fasteners.
3.2 All equipment mounted to aluminum shall have corrosion protection tape (3M Scotchrap #51) installed between the mating surfaces unless otherwise noted for each vessel listed in 1.3.
(V)(G) "OPERATIONAL TEST"
3.3 Accomplish an operational test and inspection of each existing engine for the vessels identified in 1.3 prior to removal. An authorized Evinrude technician shall perform diagnostic testing and resolve any service codes in accordance with 2.5.
3.3.1 Accomplish an operational and technical inspection of each engine and identify any additional items recommended for repair or replacement. Repair or replacement items include, but are not limited to propellers, knobs, handles, switches, cylinders, valves, pumps, bearings and gears, etc.
3.3.2 The operational and technical inspection shall be performed to sufficiently determine additional items needing repair or replacement not covered in paragraphs 3.3.3 to 3.3.16 in order to return the unit to a reliable, operational condition that meets OEM specifications.
3.3.3 Accomplish 500 hour maintenance in accordance with OEM
Inspection and maintenance schedule.
3.3.4 Inspect the engine mounted wiring harness and connections for damage and corrosion.
3.3.5 Verify starter output voltage is 55 volts as per OEM
specifications.
3.3.6 Accomplish an Engine Management Module (EMM) function test.

3.6.2 Install new port and starboard propellers Suzuki-990C0-0081L- 185 (Prop Suzuki 3 x 16x 18.5L Left Hand) and Suzuki-990C0-00810-185 (Prop Suzuki 3 x 16x 18.5R Right Hand) and two (2) propeller hub kits (Suzuki part number 57630-92L00) for each vessel listed in 1.3 in accordance with 2.28.
3.6.3 Remove existing port and starboard engine cable protective hoses and procure and install new port and starboard engine cable protective hoses. Template exact size, length, configuration and location from existing boat conditions using 2.28 for guidance.
3.6.4 An authorized Suzuki dealer shall setup and verify all engine related work listed in Paragraph 3.6 through 3.6.3 in accordance with
2.28 and 009-09 of 2.1. Contractor shall estimate two separate setups, one per craft.
3.7 Remove existing engine and trim control cables, binnacle, gauges, engine harnesses, engine GPS Antenna, and associated hardware.
3.7.1 Install new Dual Engine SPC Kit (Suzuki part number 67200- 98JG6), 31’ Harness (Suzuki part number 36620-98J41), 6’ Harness extension (Suzuki part number 36620-98J20), Dual Adapter 250AP (Suzuki part number 990C0-88132), SPC Dual Engine Kit (Suzuki part number 990C0-96L76-KIT), Multifunction Gauge (Suzuki part number 990C0-96L16), 2’ N2K cable (Suzuki part number 990C0-88104), Backbone T (Suzuki part number 990C0-88110), 2nd Gauge Adapter (Suzuki part number 36667-96L11), Fluid Level Sensor (Suzuki part number 990C0- 88217), GPS Module (Suzuki part number 990C0-88122), and all additional cabling and hardware in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions for installing the Suzuki DF250APXX engines. GPS Module antenna shall be installed on the starboard side of the hardtop, outboard of the radar scanner.
3.7.2 Contractor is responsible to install all components necessary to convert boat to Suzuki DF250APXX engines in accordance with manufacturer specifications, using 2.28 for guidance.
3.8 Remove existing ignition switch, kill switch and Evinrude dual switch panel assembly and associated cabling and procure and install new ignition switch (Honeywell part number 1TL1-2D), kill switch (Sierra part number MP40970-1), dual switch panel assembly (Suzuki part number 37100- 98J21), and cabling in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. The new ignition switches, kill switch, and dual switch panel assembly shall be connected to the new Suzuki system using 2.28 for guidance. Connect switches to the new engine wiring harness using Deutsch connectors vice cutting the harness.
3.8.1 All harnesses installed shall be procured in accordance with appropriate length for boat. No connections shall take place in bilge bottom.
3.8.2 Technical Representative shall update the display software to the current version.
3.9 Remove existing steering system in its entirety to include steering wheel, tilt helm pump, power assist pump, and hydraulic lines and procure and install new steering wheel, steering wheel cap, steering wheel knob, tilt helm pump (Teleflex part number HH6543), power assist pump (Teleflex part number PA1200-2), and port and starboard steering cylinders (Teleflex part number HC6845), Hardware mounting kit (Teleflex part number HA6804), 3FT steering hose (eight EA), 6FT steering hose (two EA), SSP: HRMC-006-22 6 of 7 ITEM NO: 236-11-001 filters, gauges, gaskets and filter housings using the same size and type of that removed for each vessel listed in 1.3, in accordance with 2.21 and 2.22. This includes but not limited to fuel fill cap, fuel fill cap with key and sounding rod, fuel vent, fuel supply, fuel fill hoses, hose clamps, cable clams, fuel gaskets, water filter separator housings and filters, fuel shut-off valves, gauges, carbon canister and fuel tank fittings.
3.14.1 Do not procure and install in-line fuel ball pumps.
3.15 Double CRES 316 stainless steel hose clamps shall be installed at any hose to fitting connection for the oil and fuel system for each vessel listed in 1.3.
3.16 Dress and secure all fuel and oil system hoses throughout the boat, including chaffing protection at all penetrations for each vessel listed in 1.3.
3.17 All fuel and oil hoses shall be templated from existing, shall meet appropriate length for vessel and continuous from fitting to fitting for each vessel listed in 1.3. No connections shall take place in bilge bottom.
(V)(G) "FINAL FUEL TANK PRESSURE TEST"
3.18 After fuel tank installations are complete, accomplish a final pressure test for each vessel listed in 1.3. Pressure test fuel tank to 2 PSI, holding pressure for 10 minutes. Pressure shall not exceed 2.5 PSI.
Allowable Pressure drop: NONE. Apply a soapy solution that is non-corrosive and non-toxic solution to inspect for leakage. Inspect all seams and attachments for leakage. Record test results.
3.18.1 Upon successful completion of the final tank test, all tank fittings shall be blanked until final installation of fuel system fittings, hoses and hardware has been completed to prevent foreign object entry into the fuel system.
3.18.2 Submit one legible copy, in hard copy or approved
transferrable media, of a report listing results of the requirements of 3.19 and 3.19.1 to the SUPERVISOR.
(V)(G) "FINAL VISUAL INSPECTION"
3.19 Completion walk thru with the SUPERVISOR prior to accomplishing Customer waterborne trials, for each vessel listed in 1.3. Contractor shall have all work and discrepancy work list compete, all electrical/electronic, and steering, propulsion equipment and safety systems tested satisfactory prior to waterborne Customer Trials. Provide a complete list of equipment that has been successfully tested prior to waterborne trials to the SUPERVISOR.
3.19.1 Submit one legible copy, in hard copy or approved
transferrable media, of a report listing results of the requirements of 3.19 to the SUPERVISOR within 3 days of waterborne trials.
3.19.2 Contractor shall turn over all warranty and registration documentation at the end of the availability for the newly installed engines.

3. REQUIREMENTS:
(I) "PRELIMINARY ELECTRICAL INSPECTION AND OPERATIONAL TEST"
3.1 Accomplish a complete inspection, and an operational test of all installed mechanical and electrical equipment, including each electrical component, lighting, navigational equipment, wiring/cabling, pump, piping, hose and label plate, using 2.2 through 2.25 as guidance, for each vessel listed in 1.3, and the location identified in 1.2. Record results.
3.1.1 Submit one legible copy, in approved transferable media, of a report listing the results of the inspection and testing requirements of 3.1 to the SUPERVISOR, within 5 days of testing.
3.1.1.1 The report shall include electrical/mechanical component item number, as identified on its associated reference, reference number, component location, condition, and the testing results of each component tested.
3.2 Prior to component removal, record each component name, as identified on its associated reference, reference number, location, and electrical connection (Disconnect Log) for the vessel listed in 1.3.1.
3.2.1 Retain each item removed, the SUPERVISOR shall determine disposition. At the discretion of SUPERVISOR, box each item removed for turnover upon vessel/trailer turnover to the GOVERNMENT.
3.2.1.1 Submit one legible copy, in approved transferable media, of a report listing the results of the requirements of 3.2 to the
SUPERVISOR.
3.3 Each new electrical installation shall meet the electrical installation requirements of 2.2, 2.3, 2.11, 2.12, 2.13, 2.22, 2.23, 2.24 and 2.25 for each vessel listed in 1.3.
3.3.1 No electrical connection shall take place in the bilge bottom.
3.3.2 Each new electrical connection shall have heat shrink style connections or shall have heat-shrink tubing installed on terminal ends to weatherize.
3.3.3 Each new battery and main power connection shall have
protective boots installed.
SSP: HRMC-006-22 4 of 8 ITEM NO: 321-11-001 equipment/cabling and procure and install a new Furuno navigation system to include NavNet TZTouch display (Furuno part number TZTL12F), remote control (Furuno part number MCU002), 24” radome (Furuno part number DRS4D+), radome power supply (Furuno part number PSU017), two (2) NMEA 2000 micro cables (Furuno part number 001-105- 800-10), GPS receiver (Furuno part number GP-330B), GPS flush mount kit (Furuno part number 001-037-630), heading sensor (Furuno part number PG700), transducer (Furuno part numberSS60-20-10F) and all associated equipment, cabling and hardware in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions to convert boat to new navigation system.
The new navigation system shall be connected to the new Suzuki system in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions in order to display engine information. The new navigation system shall be connected to the existing NMEA terminal strip for the VHF marine band radio in accordance with 2.12, 2.13, and manufacturer’s instructions in order to send position data to the radio. GPS receiver shall be mounted on the centerline of the hardtop, outboard of the radar scanner and connected directly to the NMEA 2000 backbone in the console.
Contractor is responsible to install all components necessary to convert boat to new navigation system.
3.8.1.1 Install latest version of software and charts on Furuno navigation system in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
3.8.1.2 Electrically connect new navigation system to the
existing VHF Marine Band Radio at the existing NMEA terminal strip in order to display position data at radio, installation shall be in accordance with 2.12, 2.13, and manufacturer’s instructions.
3.8.1.3 GPS receiver shall be mounted on the port side of the radar mast, outboard of the radar scanner and connected directly to the NMEA 2000 backbone in the console, in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
3.8.1.4 Install 4 each new spare label plate at the NMEA
terminal strip inside the console for removed heading output wiring using the same size and type of that removed.
(V)(G) "VISUAL INSPECTION"
3.8.1.5 An authorized Furuno technician shall verify
installation and calibration of all navigation related work.
3.8.2 Install new bus extender (Maretron Part Number NBE100) in the console in order to separate the engine NMEA 2000 from the Furuno NMEA 2000, for each vessel listed in 1.3, in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
3.9 Remove existing and install new forward and aft bilge pump system, including, each bilge pump, float switch, NEMA box, label plate, associated cabling, hose, hose clamp and overboard thru-hull fitting using the same size and type of that removed for each vessel listed in 1.3, and in accordance with 2.11 and 2.12.
3.9.1 Double CRES316 stainless steel hose clamp shall be installed at each hose to fitting connection.
3.9.2 Dress and secure each bilge system hose throughout the boat, SSP: HRMC-006-22 5 of 8 ITEM NO: 321-11-001 including chaffing protection at each penetration.
3.9.3 Each bilge hose installed shall be template from existing, ensuring appropriate length for the vessel and continuous from fitting to fitting.
(V)(G) "VISUAL INSPECTION"
3.9.4 Perform manual/auto function bilge test to ensure the float switch operated properly.
3.10 Remove existing and install new fuel sending unit in the fuel tank using the same size and type of that removed for each vessel listed in 1.3, in accordance with 2.12, 2.13, 2.16, 2.17, 2.20, 2.21 and manufacturer’s instructions.
3.11 Remove existing and install new fuel gauge for each vessel listed in 1.3, in accordance with 2.12, 2.13, 2.16, 2.17, 2.20, 2.21, and manufacturer's instructions.
3.12 Install 2 each new underwater light (OceanLED part number 012305B), cable (LSDSGU-9) and splice for each vessel listed in 1.3, in accordance with 2.2 and manufacturer’s instructions. Underwater lighting shall be connected to Distribution Panel DP-1, circuit K1. Underwater lighting circuit shall be located on the port and starboard side of the engine bracket in accordance with 2.21.
3.13 Remove existing and install each new label plate at each breaker listed below using the same size and type of that removed for the vessel listed in 1.3.

3.14 Install 46 each new appropriately sized toggle switch boot on each switch located on the console at Distribution Panel DP1, Control Panel 1 and battery voltage selector switch for each vessel listed in 1.3.
3.15 Remove and replace with new complete windshield wiper/washer system (motor Ongaro P/N 30991, wiper arms Ongaro P/N 33650, blades Ongaro P/N 33018, washer 2.5L Ongaro P/N 31130, spray jet Ongaro P/N 31157) including washer fluid tank, and each fluid supply hose for each vessel listed in 1.3, and in accordance with 2.12, 2.13 and manufacturers instruction.
3.16 Remove existing and install each new Black Oak light bar and wiring including each associated switch, using the same size and type of that removed in accordance with 2.11 and manufacturer’s instructions.
3.17 Remove existing and install new FWD search light receptacle with dust cap and lanyard on each vessel listed in 1.3, using the same size and type of that removed and in accordance with 2.11.

3.41 Remove existing and install new console overhead dome light on each vessel listed in 1.3 and in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and in accordance with 2.11.
3.42 Install new port Tiger Communications yellow PTT pushbutton cover for each vessel listed in 1.3, using the same size and type as that removed.
3.43 Remove existing and install new seven-way flat pin, round cable harness for each trailer listed in 1.3, in accordance with 2.23. Cable harness shall be spliced in accordance with 2.2.

3. REQUIREMENTS:
3.1 Retain all removed items for disposition instructions by SUPERVISOR, for each vessel listed in 1.3. At the discretion of the SUPERVISOR, box all removed items for turnover upon vessel/trailer turnover.
3.1.1 Submit one legible copy, in a hard copy or approved
transferrable media, of a report listing the results of the requirements of 3.1 to the SUPERVISOR within 3 days of inspection completion.
3.2 Each new threaded fasteners shall be corrosion resistant steel (CRES), ASTM A276, Type 316, unless otherwise specified. Each nuts shall be self-locking type, unless otherwise specified. One CRES washer shall be used under each bolt head and under each nut. Bolt/stud length shall not exceed less than 1-1/2 threads or more than 5 threads beyond the nut with full thread engagement, for the vessel listed in 1.3.
3.2.1 Apply anti-seize compound, Loctite 34026 marine grade anti-seize or equal to all stainless steel threaded fasteners, for the vessel listed in 1.3.
3.3 All new equipment mounted to aluminum shall have corrosion protection tape (3M Scotchrap #51) installed between the mating surfaces

3.4 Remove existing (2 EA) bow door latch, (2 EA) catch and hardware and install (2 EA) new latch, (2 EA) catch and hardware for each vessel listed in 1.3, using the same size and type of that removed and in accordance with 2.28 and 2.29.
3.5 Remove existing bow door seating gasket and install new gasket for each vessel listed in 1.3 using 2.28 and 2.29 as guidance. Template exact size, length, configuration and location from existing vessel conditions.
Ensure bow door is watertight.
3.6 Remove existing 2 each bow dive recovery ladder retaining pin and 2 each lanyard and install 2 each new retaining pin and 2 each lanyard for each vessel listed in 1.3, using the same size and type of that removed and in accordance with 2.28 and 2.29.
3.7 Remove existing and replace with new anchor stowage hatch door assembly for each vessel listed in 1.3, using the same size and type of that removed and in accordance with 2.28 and 2.29.
3.8 Remove existing and replace with new forward bilge hatch door assembly for each vessel listed in 1.3, using the same size and type of that removed and in accordance with 2.28 and 2.29.
3.9 Remove existing and install new anchor chain for the vessel listed in 1.3 using the same size and type of that removed.
3.10 Remove existing and replace with new bow ladder (SSI P/N SSC-11M- DBL) for the vessel listed in 1.3.1 in accordance with 2.28 and 2.29.
3.11 Remove existing and replace with new forward bilge manual pump securing bracket for each vessel listed in 1.3 using the same size and type of that removed.
3.12 Remove existing (2 EA) forward inspection soft patch for each vessel listed in 1.3. Drill and tap any sheared screws. Install new hardware using same size and type of that removed and in accordance with
2.28 and 2.29. Ensure panel is watertight.
3.13 Remove existing (2 EA) bow inspection soft patch for each vessel listed in 1.3. Drill and tap any sheared screws. Install new hardware using same size and type of that removed and in accordance with 2.28 and
2.29. Ensure panel is watertight.
3.14 Remove each existing SCUBA tank holder and hardware on port and starboard side bow and replace with each new SCUBA tank holder and hardware using the same size and type of that removed in accordance with
2.6 and 2.7.
3.15 Remove existing bow door hinge hardware and replace with new hardware for each vessel listed in 1.3 using the same size and type of that removed.
3.16 Conduct 600-hour SHOXS seats maintenance on the seat for each vessel listed in 1.3 in accordance with Section 4 of 2.18.
3.16.1 Submit one legible copy, in hard copy or approved
transferrable media, of a report listing results of 600-hour SHOXS seat maintenance for each vessel listed in 1.3 to the SUPERVISOR.
3.17 Remove each existing SHOXS seat springs and hardware and accomplish the surface preparation of the each existing SHOXS seat spring and hardware, in accordance with SSPC SP 10/NACE No. 2, Near White Metal

Blast using garnet or aluminum oxide or crushed glass or walnut shells for each vessel listed in 1.3.
3.17.1 Ensure all oxidation and corrosion is removed and there is no pitting or cracks in existing equipment.
3.17.2 Paint each SHOXS seat spring (color orange) according to manufacturer’s instructions.
3.18 Remove existing non-skid on each footrest and rung throughout and replace with new on each vessel listed in 1.3 using same size and type of that removed and in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
3.19 Remove existing SHOXS seat bottom cushion and hardware and install new seating cushion and hardware, (One) Gel 6100 Cushion Part No. 124613, (4 EA) LAN Flat Washer Part No. FW LAN-0.250-316SS and (4 EA) BHCS-HX- 0.250-20x0.750-316SS, for each vessel listed in 1.3 in accordance with 2.8, 2.9 and 2.30.
3.20 Remove each existing SHOXS seat bottom side cushion bolster and hardware and install each new seat bottom side cushion bolster and hardware, (one) Right Cushion Bolster Assembly Part No. 100192, (one) Left Cushion Bolster Assembly Part No. 100295, (6 EA) LAN Flat Washer Part No. FW LAN-0.250-316SS, (6 EA) Button Head Cap Screw Part No. BHCS- HX-0.250-20x0.750-316SS, for each vessel listed in 1.3 and in accordance with 2.8, 2.9 and 2.30.
3.21 Remove existing SHOXS seat backrest cushion and hardware and install new seat backrest cushion and hardware, (One) Backrest Assembly Part No. 100185, (4 EA) LAN Flat Washer Part No. FW LAN-0.250-316SS and (4 EA) BHCS-HX-0.250-20x0.750-316SS, for each vessel listed in 1.3 and in accordance with 2.8, 2.9 and 2.30.
3.22 Remove existing SHOXS backrest side cushion bolsters and hardware and install new backrest side cushion bolsters and hardware, (one) Right Backrest Bolster Assembly Part No. 100188, (one) LH Backrest Bolster Assembly Part No. 100297, (8 EA) LAN Flat Washer Part No. FW LAN-0.250- 316SS, (8 EA) Button Head Cap Screw Part No. BHCS-HX-0.250-20x0.750- 316SS, for each vessel listed in 1.3 and in accordance with 2.8, 2.9 and 2.30.
3.23 Remove each existing SHOXS seat arm rest cushion and hardware and install each new arm rest cushion and hardware (Two EA) Armrest Bolster Part No. 100206, (6 EA) LAN Flat Washer Part No. FW LAN-0.250-316SS, and (6 EA) Button Head Cap Screw Part No. BHCS-HX-0.250-20XO.750-316SS for each vessel listed in 1.3 and in accordance with 2.8, 2.9 and 2.30.
3.24 Remove existing 20 each threaded insert for 3rd row bolster seat mount and replace with new for vessel listed in 1.3.2. Drill and tap any sheared screws. Install new hardware using same size and type of that removed and in accordance with 2.8 and 2.30.
3.25 Remove each cabin window and reseal each window frame using suitable marine sealant for vessel listed in 1.3.1 and re-attach each window frame using all new CRES 316 hardware. Ensure that each latch and moving part work freely.
3.26 Remove existing and replace with new 6 each window screen for vessel listed in 1.3.1 using the same size and type of that removed and in accordance with 2.6.
3.27 Remove existing Ritchie compass hardware and replace with new on

3.59 Remove each existing transom storage hatch latch (port and starboard) and replace with new for each vessel listed in 1.3 using the same size and type of that removed and in accordance with 2.17.
3.60 Remove existing transom storage hatch seating gasket (port and starboard) and install new gasket for each vessel listed in 1.3 Template exact size, length, configuration and location from existing vessel conditions. Ensure fuel tank hatch is watertight.
3.61 Remove existing battery access door latch and hardware (4 EA) and install new latch and hardware for vessel listed in 1.3.2 using the same size and type of that removed and in accordance with 2.17. Ensure proper alignment of all latches after installation.
3.62 Remove existing Distribution Panel 1 plexiglass cover and hardware, fabricate new from existing cover and install new plexiglass cover and hardware for each vessel listed in 1.3.
3.63 Remove aft deck fuel tank access lift off cover for each vessel listed in 1.3. Clear debris from deck drain and re-install cover for each vessel listed in 1.3.
3.64 Remove each deck drain hose and hose clamp and install each new drain hose and hose clamp for each vessel listed in 1.3, using the same size and type of that removed.
3.65 Remove existing and replace with new aft bilge lift-off hatch assembly and gasket for each vessel listed in 1.3 using the same size and type of that removed and in accordance with 2.17.
3.66 Remove each existing folding dive ladder stowage retainer (Quick Fist) and hardware and install new retainer and hardware for each vessel listed in 1.3, using the same size and type of that removed and in accordance with 2.17.
3.67 Remove existing folding dive ladder pin and lanyard and replace with new for each vessel listed in 1.3, suing the same size and type of that removed and in accordance with 2.17.

3.85 Remove existing UHMW, bunk carpet, and hardware and paint bunks with black stain for each trailer listed in 1.3, reusing existing UHMW and replace hardware using same size and type of the removed and in accordance with 2.35.
3.86 Remove existing (6 EA) tires/ wheels, and hardware, existing (1 EA) spare tire/ wheel and hardware, and install new (6 EA) tires/ wheels and hardware (1 EA) spare tire/ wheel and hardware for each trailer listed in 1.3, using the same size and type of that removed and in accordance with 2.35.
3.87 Remove existing winch, winch rope, winch pulley block and install new winch, winch rope, winch pulley block and associated hardware for each trailer listed in 1.3, using the same size and type of the removed and in accordance with 2.35.
3.88 Remove each cross-support bracket and replace with new for each trailer listed in 1.3.4, using the same size and type of that removed and in accordance with 2.35.
3.89 Remove existing toolbox located on front of trailer and replace with new on trailer listed in 1.3.3, using the same size and type of that removed in accordance with 2.35.
3.90 Remove existing recovery beam nylock fastner and replace with new on trailer listed in 1.3.3, using the same size and type of that removed in accordance with 2.35.
3.91 Remove existing tongue adapter hardware and fasteners and replace with new on trailer listed in 1.3.3 using the same size and type of that removed in accordance with 2.35.
3.92 Replace broken ladder on trailer listed in 1.3.3 in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and 2.35.

3.1 Upon delivery of each boat and trailer listed in 1.3, to the contractor’s facility, the contractor shall accomplish a complete visual inspection of each vessel, trailer, installed machinery, equipment, hull and structures for discrepancies, damage and/or missing items, within the first 10 days of the start of the availability using 2.2 through 2.27 as guidance. Record results.
3.1.1 Submit one legible copy, in a hard copy or approved
transferrable media, of a report listing the results of the requirements of 3.1 to the SUPERVISOR within 3 days of inspection completion.
3.1.1.1 The report shall describe in detail each discrepancy, damage, and/or missing items, including exact location.
3.1.2 The trailer shall not to be used as a “boat stand” during the accomplishment of painting or repairs, for each vessel listed in 1.3.
3.2 The Contractor shall take pictures and video tape, with time/date stamp, of the vessel and trailer listed in 1.3, including, installed equipment, and hull to document vessel existing condition.
3.2.1 Submit one legible copy, in approved transferrable media, of a report listing the results of 3.2, to the SUPERVISOR within 3 days of each vessel delivery. The report shall include a DVD Disc of the vessel condition.
(V)(G) "BILGE CLEANLINESS INSPECTION"
3.3 The contractor shall, clean, degrease and inspect the bilge, including top of fuel tank, and engine oil lockers, for each vessel listed in 1.3, within the first 10 days of the start of the availability using 2.2 through 2.27 for guidance. Thoroughly pressure wash the bilges, bilge overhead, and the underside of deck hatches with Boatlife Bilge Cleaner and fresh water. Bilges shall be free of oil, grease, contaminants, and debris. Accomplish an inspection of the bilges, bilge overhead, and the underside of the deck hatches upon completion of pressure wash cleaning. Inspection shall identify any structural damages which were not visible prior to delivery and bilge cleaning. Record inspection results.

3.3.1 Maintain bilge cleanliness of each vessel throughout the availability.
3.3.2 Submit one legible copy, in approved transferrable media, of a report listing results of the requirements of 3.3 to the SUPERVISOR within 3 days of inspection and cleaning completion.
3.3.2.1 Report shall detail exact location and type of damage on each vessel.
3.4 Each new threaded fastener shall be corrosion resistant steel (CRES), ASTM A276, Type 316, unless otherwise specified. Each nut shall be self-locking type, unless otherwise specified. One CRES washer shall be used under each bolt head and under each nut. Bolt/stud length shall not exceed less than 1-1/2 threads or more than 5 threads beyond the nut with full thread engagement, for each vessel listed in 1.3.
3.4.1 Apply anti-seize compound, Loctite 34026 marine grade anti-seize or equal to all stainless steel threaded fasteners, for the vessel listed in 1.3.
3.5 All equipment mounted to aluminum shall have corrosion protection tape (3M Scotchrap #51) installed between the mating surfaces unless otherwise noted, for each vessel listed in 1.3.
3.6 Retain each removed item for disposition instructions by SUPERVISOR, for each vessel listed in 1.3. At the discretion of SUPERVISOR, box each removed item for turnover upon vessel/trailer turnover.
3.7 The contractor shall inspect the SHOXS seats for any damages for each vessel listed in 1.3, within the first 10 days of the start of the availability using 2.18 for guidance. Inspection shall identify any damages which were not visible prior to delivery. Record inspection results.
3.7.1 Submit one legible copy, in a hard copy or approved
transferrable media, of a report listing results of the requirements of 3.7 to the SUPERVISOR within 3 days of inspection.
