1.0 GENERAL INFORMATION

The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) announces its pursuit of a Multiple-Award IDIQ Acquisition Strategy. The MDA anticipates to award up to three IDIQ contracts but will award to all qualifying offerors for the development and delivery of no more than three Homeland Defense Radars. This strategy will promote competition and leverage industry innovations available to the warfighter to meet requirements. Industry is advised that the final Request for Proposal (RFP) will supersede any draft information posted to date. The MDA anticipates release of the RFP on or about 4 May 2018.

The HDR solicitation number has changed from HQ0147-17-R-0036 to HQ0147-18-R-0010. This change is NOT a cancellation of the requirements but for administrative purposes only.

This DRFP does not commit the Government to any contractual agreements or arrangements. The Government will NOT pay any costs incurred by a respondent because of this DRFP posting. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any procurement of supplies or services, nor does it constitute a solicitation or a promise of a solicitation in the future. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334511.

All communications concerning this acquisition must be coordinated through the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO).
