About this file

This document is a Question and Answer (Q&A) file for a federal contract opportunity (Solicitation Number HQ003425QE045) for interpretation services for a Tunisian NDI Seminar. The event requires simultaneous interpretation services for a 5-day conference focusing on US Government and national security topics, with additional themes including good governance, rule of law, anticorruption, and public-private partnerships.

Key details include service requirements of 7-8 hours per day on April 10, 11, 14, and 15 (with setup on April 9), with 57 expected attendees. NESA requires 57 wireless headsets with earpieces and 29 tabletop microphones. The interpreters will be for English/Arabic translation, with linguists specifically from Tunisia. The conference will have breakout sessions in the main conference room, and interpreters may need to move around to provide translation. No security clearance is required for interpreters, and the government requests inclusion of interpreter resumes with the proposal submission. A Program Manager and AV Tech Specialist are also required on-site during the event.
