MEMORANDUM FOR MICC OFFICE

Subject: Brand name Letter for Fort Hood Fire & Emergency Services

1. This purchase is for a partial buy for our Scott Air Packs. We are currently trying to add more updated air packs to our inventory. These packs hold our air bottles and regulate the pressure to our SCBA masks. We are requiring Scott brand because all of our bottles and masks are Scott. No other produce will integrate with our current equipment.

2. There is not a possibility of full system replacement due to cost. We are only upgrading portions due to the high cost of the entire system. This is a purchase of only 25 new packs.

3. For the reasons listed above, the Fort Hood Fire & Emergency Services request that a brand name purchase of Scott SCBA Packs.

4. If there are any questions, please contact Mr. Keith Huhman at 254-618-7319
