The purpose of this amendment to Combined Synopsis//solicitation (CSS) Number HHS-NIH- NIDA(AG)-CSS-18-337NIA is to provide technical information to the project requirement.

At least 2 portable and 1 fixed patients will be residing on this telemetry system.

The Government has Wi-Fi wired on the unit.

The following parameters are needed to monitor on the telemetry transmitters:

o ECG o Spo2 o Respiration o NIBP

The data needs to be stored until the patient is discharged.

What alarm parameters are needed? Usual for the parameters noted above.

Transmitters needed: At least 2 portable devices -portable and 1 fixed.

Adult patients will be monitored.

Remote viewing screens needed for the hallway: 3 remote viewing screens. Located in offices.

There will be no need for an interactive Remote Nurses Station in addition to the CNS.

The square footage of the needed telemetry coverage areas is approximately 10,000-12,000.

What band would it reside? The Government is in the process of going live with a newer system at this time.

The server closet will be located on the unit.

What about interfacing HL7 for EMR? HL7 is ok. The Government does not have conventional EMR because research will be done.

Comprehensive central monitoring capabilities is the Central Station.

The existing IT infrastructure: Wireless is centrally controlled Cisco N. Wired network is currently 1Gb and 10b.
