c. Limitation of Liability. Except as otherwise provided by an express or implied warranty, the
Contractor will not be liable to the ordering activity for consequential damages resulting from any defect or deficiencies in accepted items.

The Whorl Scan Plugin enables Whorl the ability to scan and segment inked fingerprint and palmprint cards using an Appendix F certified scanning solution and generate an ANSI/NIST-ITL transaction with the segmented images encoded in WSQ image format. This plugin comes with a standard set of common card templates already defined and provides the ability to create new and custom card templates.
Whorl Capture Plugin
The Whorl Capture Plugin enables Whorl the ability to capture flat and rolled fingerprints, and palmprints using an Appendix F certified live-scan device. The captured fingerprints or palmprints will be encoded in WSQ and can be used to construct an ANSI/NIST-ITL transaction.
Whorl Export Plugin
The Whorl Export Plugin enables Whorl the ability to export an ANSI/NIST-ITL transaction to a “Record of Enrollment” PDF document that provides key descriptive information, facial profile picture, fingerprints, face images, iris images, and SMT images. This Record of Enrollment is used by many law enforcement agencies to quickly generate a document that can be quickly shared to help identify persons of interest. In addition, the Whorl Export Plugin provides the ability to export the fingerprints out in a FD-249 or FD-258 fingerprint card format.
