Tecsys, Inc.’s Authorized GSA Pricing Project Director / Project Advisor - $236.27

General

Reporting to the Vice-President Customer Delivery the Project Director/ Project Advisor will oversee the successful implementation while meeting the customer’s objectives. The project director/ project advisor will take a leadership role in the customer delivery team.

Specific Responsibilities

• The definition and documentation of required methodologies

• The preparation, development and delivery of adequate information and training to all CD staff assigned to projects in a specific vertical

• The definition and deployment of appropriate Key Performance Metrics to ensure projects in vertical are successful

• Work closely with the Product Managers to ensure that adequate feedback from the field is given in regards to this vertical

• Work closely with Sales to improve our offerings and to ensure that communication between both teams are optimal

Project Manager- $213.96

The Project Manager is responsible to ensure a successful EliteSeries implementation. The role also includes allocation of resources, priority definition, coordination of interactions with the stakeholders, working with the project team to evaluate effort, risks and solutions to risk, and keep the project team focused on the right goals. The

Project Manager adheres to the Tecsys Project Management methodology that ensures the integrity and quality of project artifacts and product.

• Support the Project Manager in the execution of her/his mandate(s) and in support of client initiatives.

• Apply Project Delivery Process Methodology, processes and tools.

• Creation of multiple project status reports & dashboard for team, senior management and clients (gathering information, summarizing information into appropriate format).

Consultant who performs full life cycle implementations, Business Process Reviews, application training along with process analysis. Provides guidance to customers regarding best practices, data parameter setup, data cleaning and validation and validation testing.

• Attends Business Process Review (BPR) sessions with Tecsys team and customers

• Develops GAP analysis based on contract commitments and Gaps identified in BPR

• Guides the customer in the database parameter process

• Assists the end users in documenting Operating Procedures

• Assists the end users in creating training material and testing material

Under the supervision of the director of Business Solutions, the business analyst gathers/documents business requirements and processes, develops use cases and UI prototypes, performs the requirements analysis, business process, and data modeling to come up with a business solution to meet the customer’s requirements.

• Work closely with Application Specialists and customers to get a good understanding of the business requirements

• Work closely with technical colleagues and customer to propose solutions and alternate solutions where possible

• Need to be able to produce estimates

• Produce functional analysis & design documents using use cases, flow charts, etc….

• Review all Business Requirements and all Detailed Functional documents of all the enhancements produced by the different analysts working on the account to make sure all the different solutions integrate well together and with the generic products and to make sure there are no gaps

Development Specialist- $208.56

General:

Under the direction of the Director Solutions Architect, the Java Developer develops code using Java and other

Tecsys-approved tools to meet specification requirements within given deadlines. The Java Developer must be analytical and logical.

Depending on the projects, the Java Developer may be called to analyze customer needs via the intermediary, that being the Analyst or the Account Manager. In addition, this person must be capable of providing solutions responding to customer needs and/or that of the generic product. Depending on the approach used, the standards of the Customer Delivery Department as well as that of the Research and Development Department must be respected.

JALF (Java Architecture, Libraries, and Frameworks) is a set of internally developed J2EE-based core libraries that serve as a foundational layer to Tecsys’ Web-based end-user applications such as the Distribution Management

System (DMS), Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS). The Java

Developer designs and develops code for those end-user applications using JALF.

• Review and understand the modification changes required for the client and/or for generic, write and/or review specifications for the modification, write code to meet the requirements in the specification

• Responsible for researching and correcting any inconsistencies found in given programs by Quality Assurance or the customer

• Assist training, if required on a case-by-case basis, following on new functionality or modification

• Provide feedback to the Project Leader of any changes that would adversely affect a customer deadline

• May be asked to perform code reviews for coworkers within his/her team.

QA Specialist- $205.09

Reporting directly to the CD Director Business Solutions, the Quality Assurance Analyst will ensure that quality products are delivered to customers, by performing adequate and intensive testing on customized modifications, as well as ongoing software bug resolutions.

• Review and understand the modifications required for a client application

• Develop test plans that effectively uncover software defects as per Quality Assurance established standards.

• Perform intensive software testing, to ensure that the modifications achieve the results specified in the functional/detailed requirements.

• Analyze the results and report any inconsistency.

• Meet the scheduled completion dates and deliver quality products on time.

• Help to provide accurate time estimates related to the QA testing

• Develop and enhance the testing methodology, standards and test checklists.

• Develop, maintain and execute automated testing plans

• Participate in the review of the analysis/detailed design documents, if required

• Assist with the training of other QA Analysts, if required.

• Log quality measurements.

• Adhere to current policies and procedures

• Develop expertise of EliteSeries products, by attending training or by self-education

• Undertake any task required by his/her manager, related to the testing activity.

• Minimum of 2 years of post high school education in Computer Sciences, Accounting or any related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software testing of application software such as Distribution, Warehousing and Transportation.

• Strong understanding of QA processes.

• Accurate, detail-oriented, capable of prioritizing work and multi-tasking skills

• Technical aptitude and understanding of relational database structures.

• Knowledge of programming languages (Java, Informix, Oracle) would be an asset.

Technical Specialist- $224.32

The Technical Services Team is responsible for the technical support and framework required by our customer base. This is not only limited to the Elite requirements but extends to all third-party products sold by Tecsys. The candidate will be required to install and support all software purchased by the customer base, new and existing, including third party products, on various UNIX platforms using SQL Server and Oracle Relational Databases. They will also be responsible for providing support and solutions to internal groups.

• Perform and assist in technical tasks required to deploy the Elite suite of products.

• Complete scripting/coding projects as required.

• Provide performance analysis, troubleshooting and tuning on customer systems for UNIX & Database engines.

• Perform on-site/remote installations of all Tecsys-purchased software (includes 3pp)

• Keep up-to-date on changes related to the software to ensure smooth integration to the customer’s implementation.

• Provide technical support for R&D/CE issues.

• Participate in new product certification requirements.

• 4 years post high school education in Computer Science.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.

• Experience on a commercial Linux or Windows platform.

• Experience with installing software in a SaaS environment.

• Experience administering/installing database engines such as SQL Server or Oracle
