Principal Duties:
Subject Matter Expert for specific applications, programs, systems, capabilities, functions, or devices. Provides technical, managerial, and administrative direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development and implementation for complex systems in the relevant subject matter area. Assists senior staff with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts.

Interfaces with other physical plant specialists on new buildings and installations to ensure correct and standard installation.

Principal Duties:
The Desktop Support Technician is responsible for resolving end user support requests, maintaining user accounts, and maintaining desktop and/or laptop hardware performance and inventories. INFORMATION ASSURANCE/COMPUTER NETWORK DEFENSE ENGINEER/ANALYST
The Information Assurance/Computer Network Defense Engineer/Analyst ensures availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation. They incorporate protection, detection, and reaction capabilities to ensure the preservation and restoration of systems; develop and manage IA risk management plans; and certify and accredit systems.

COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEER INTERMEDIATE II
Principal Duties:
Develops and applies advanced cyber engineering technical knowledge, methods, and research techniques in the solution of communication and cyber system requirements and problems. Provides comprehensive knowledge of aspects of systems development from analysis, planning, developing, integrating, implementing, operating and maintaining mission requirements and verification of system performance. Performs evaluation of analysis of alternatives and assessment of technical hardware, software and infrastructure risks regarding security, operations and cyber project activities. Assists with plans to conduct technical projects or phases of projects, and coordinates efforts of technical and programmatic team members in the performance of assigned duties. Develops documentation to review, analyze and asses the results of engineering and design tasks. Develops test planning documentation for integrated systems to provide verification and validation of system requirements. Possess knowledge in cyber engineering and security to assist with simulations, data extraction, redundancy, and analysis methodologies.

COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST I
Analyzes network transport traffic, latency, performance, packets and throughput and recommends enhancements to maintain network performance levels in accordance with key performance parameters and requirements. Advises on modifications to network transport and infrastructure to increase efficiencies in network performance which includes recommendations of procurement of new hardware and software components and specifications. Assists with designs to optimize network topologies and site configurations. Plans installations and transitions of network components and capabilities. Coordinates new requirements with engineering team.

COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST II
Evaluates communication hardware and software, troubleshoots common network topologies and other network related problems, provides technical expertise for performance and configuration of networks. Schedules conversions and system downtime and provides support to the network operations center. Supervises maintenance of systems and coordinates with sites and end users..

Performs multi-layer security job requirements, under general supervision, to analyze and define security requirements for applicable systems and applications. Through specialized knowledge in security and information assurance products such as Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Virtual Private Network (VPN), firewalls, and intrusion detection systems; performs activities for design, development, engineering and implementation solutions to system security requirements. Performs risk analyses, assessments and develops documentation for security based certification and accreditation requirements to support Risk Management Framework (RMF) or equivalent system security documentation. Provides technical support for secure software development and integration tasks and recommends resolution of security/IA problems from knowledge of the major IA products and services, limitations, and disciplines.

Performs risk analyses to support certification and accreditation documentation for Risk Management Framework (RMF). Support continuous monitoring to support accreditation requirements and security posture. Provides technical support for secure project development and integration tasks, including reviewing work products for correctness and adhering to the design concept and to user standards. Knowledgeable of Security/Information Assurance (IA) products such Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Virtual Private Network (VPN), firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. INFORMATION SYSTEM SECURITY SPECIALIST LEAD
Designs and maintains secure architecture for enterprise-wide systems to include the software, hardware, and transport methods to support the total operational requirements. Ensures responsible systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for applicable required system architectures for secure implementation and specifications for internal/external interfaces and applications. Identifies, assesses, and recommends functional and technical requirements including hardware and software updates or upgrades. Responsible for developing, maintaining high level system design diagrams and ensures compliant operating environment. Develops, designs and analyzes work flows, organization and planning to provide continuous monitoring solutions for information assurance requirements, policies and procedures.
NETWORK DESIGN ENGINEER LEAD
Provides technical leadership for network hardware and software design to perform planning and implementation of physical and logical network communications solutions across enterprise wide systems. Knowledge of diverse hardware and software defined networking technologies to provide solutions that incorporate integration across multiple secure environments and interfaces. Define, analyze, and provide solutions for voice, data, and multiple types of communications requirements.
Prepares complex design overviews to define entire network hardware, software and infrastructure components and solutions.
Plans, designs, and implements network management plans to monitor, diagnose, control, and measure performance of multiple simultaneous networks. Identifies and recommends new design tools for use in communications projects.
Participates in studies and analyses by providing costing input, reports, and technical solutions and recommendations for enterprise wide network activities. Identifies product modifications, vulnerabilities and influences vendors to incorporate updates into their products.
NETWORK ENGINEER LEAD
Plans large-scale systems, projects, interfaces, and assesses network information requirements in the development and/or management of enterprise-wide or large-scale networking infrastructure. Evaluates analytically and systematically problems of work flows and network usage, organization and planning and develops appropriate corrective action. Provides daily supervision and direction to technical personnel. Designs architecture to include the software, hardware and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
Ensures compliance and compatibility across network systems satisfying system requirements with emphasis on standards for open systems architectures. Ensures that the network/transport layers of the common operating environments are compliant and develops technical standards and interface applications, identifies and evaluates new products, and provides resolution for network problems.
NETWORK SYSTEMS ENGINEER LEAD
Provides technical subject matter expertise in planning, system design, and implementation of physical and logical network communication transport solutions throughout networks. Principal Duties:

PRINCIPAL SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
Provides senior level administration for isolation and resolution of complex hardware and software problems involving applications, operating systems hardware, software and other infrastructure components. Organizes and directs the configuration and operation of information management systems in accordance with techniques, tactics and procedures.
Responsible for senior level guidance and operations of system and resource optimization and user assistance. Ensures system efficiency and operations and maintenance through knowledge of automated tools and scripts. Develops documentation and processes for system administrator procedures, training and end-user assistance. Conducts detailed system level capacity and performance analysis, and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations to engineering reviews for consideration of system enhancements.

Support the development of large-scale or cross functional automated information systems to include enterprise architectures, datacenters and virtual environments. Designs systems architectures to include the software, hardware, and communications to support interfaces, compatibility, compliance, multiple platforms, and ensure system meets total requirements. Provides comprehensive knowledge and skills of all aspects of system development from analysis of mission needs to verification of system performance. Performs evaluation of system alternatives and assessment of risks and costs. QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER
Develops, documents, manages, and maintains a process for evaluating acceptable quality levels in accordance with requirements and associated documentation. Executes quality control to maintain the level of quality throughout all phases of project life cycle activities. SATELLITE TECHNICIAN I
Provides support at various sites and can perform deployable satellite installations, cabling, troubleshooting, maintenance and preventative maintenance inspections. Can perform VSAT operations and maintenance and interface systems to local and wide area networks. Capable of installing and troubleshooting remote sites by themselves in austere locations. Experience with loading cryptographic keys and performing basic troubleshooting on many types of hardware.

Maintains a broad knowledge of applicable communication technologies and industry best practices for proficiency in network communications and operations. Possess a demonstrated ability to independently and collaboratively work on complex assignments.
SATELLITE TECHNICIAN III

SECURITY SYSTEM ENGINEER III
Analyzes current security regulations and guidelines to determine and maintain compliance for Information Assurance (IA)/Cybersecurity functional and technical requirements. Analyzes and defines IA security requirements for enterprise-wide open architecture and/or proprietary systems. Ensures that the architecture and design of DoD information systems are secure and functionally and technically aligned to requirements. Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions in accordance with requirements, existing security products, and certification and accreditation guidelines. Designs and develops IA or IA enabled products, interface specifications, and approaches to secure the environments. Assesses threats to the environments and provides input and recommendations on the adequacy of security designs and architectures.
SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEER I
Knowledge in one or more aspects of cyber operations for telecommunications, networking, and/or video, voice, and data networks. May have specialized knowledge in one or more of the following areas: routing and switching infrastructures, transport technologies, network management, Internet Protocol (IP), Voice over IP (VoIP) and network security. Provides sufficient knowledge to perform task under supervision on specific tasks that include planning, design, engineering, implementation, operations and sustainment for network communications, telecommunications, and data systems. Executes general tasks for technical support, testing, interoperability, integration and analysis of communication networks.
SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEER II
Plans, designs, engineers, operates and maintains cyber communication network capabilities and configures systems to user environments in accordance with network requirements. Analyzes network topologies, traffic and capacity requirements to provide recommendations on network enhancements. Possess knowledge of current communications technologies to assess network hardware and software requirements to supports the acquisition of hardware and software as required. Provide technical network administration, support and troubleshooting to users and participates in special projects as required.
SR NETWORK INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN LEAD
Plans, executes, and provides recommendations for installation and coordinates post installation operations and maintenance support. Assess technical requirements, organize, direct and execute network installations on site surveys and installations.
Assess and documents current site network configuration and user requirements to plan, design, optimize, install and integrate network topologies. Directs and leads preparation of engineering plans and site installation to include development and execution of installation schedules coordinating with internal and external teams. Develops drawings documenting configuration changes at each site and integrate changes into overall topology. Identify required spare parts, execute and manage procedures for dispatching spare parts/field service personnel, and provide technical assistance to responding to troubleshooting issues. Provides recommendations on spares, planning, and tracking operational spares.
VMWARE ADMINISTRATOR II
Supervises and manages virtual administration daily activities for configuration and operation of systems throughout an enterprise wide architecture. Provide virtual optimization and resource utilization; perform capacity analysis and planning;
