Information Assurance Subject Matter Expert (SME)
The candidate will be in charge of managing information assurance programs and/or supporting pertinent information assurance efforts on behalf of the organization. They are responsible for designing and developing effective information assurance initiatives, programs, and solutions, to include the implementation of information assurance technologies. They manage information assurance professionals who measure and mitigate risks and vulnerabilities. In addition, they are responsible for remediating compliance issues and policy violations by designing and/or implementing security and privacy safeguards that prevent these incidents from occurring. They serve as mentors to junior staff and participate during information meetings. They establish strategy, guidelines, policies, and procedures for keeping information secure based on user and data requirements. Develop solutions to information assurance problems based on user requirements and available security programs and services. Shall lead incident response, including reporting and mitigating data breaches or losses. Shall develop strategies to reduce risk, protect privacy, and increase overall information security. Shall safeguard organizational data by analyzing architecture, conducting audits, and enforcing policies. Shall communicate alerts organization‐wide and to appropriate external Bodies.

The candidate shall be responsible for providing accurate and effective information technology engineering advice on a variety of projects within the organization. Shall be responsible for using critical thinking and problem‐solving abilities to make information technology engineering processes more efficient, save company resources, and increase profitability. Shall develop information technology engineering strategies to streamline product/service production and implementation. The candidate shall be responsible for the upkeep of computer hardware and software systems with the focus on the information technology components within the organization. Conducts maintenance on computers, printer, routers, smartphones, etc. Performs network monitoring, testing for weaknesses, handling updates, installing and implementing security programs, and evaluating network management software. May also administer, develop, run tests on, implement, and maintain operating system and related software.
Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.
