Labor Categories Description
Task Order Manager Mid Education and Minimum/General Experience Must have a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Environmental related fields, or business administration, and must have three (3) plus years of related experience for the project they are supporting.
Functional Responsibility Plans, conducts, and supervises projects of major significance, necessitating knowledge and the ability to originate and apply new and unique methods and procedures. Provides technical advice and counsel to other professionals. May operate with wide latitude for un-reviewed actions or decisions. Has day-to-day responsibility for the activities of the project team.
Task Order Manager – Jr
Must have a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Environmental related fields, or business administration, and must have one (1) year of related experience.

Hazardous Waste Specialist – Sr
A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.

Hazardous Waste Specialist – Jr

Environmental Specialist – Sr
Must have a Bachelor degree in environmental sciences, biology, earth sciences or related fields. 10 years experience in coordinating and implementing environmental, hazardous, industrial waste related projects.
Functional Responsibility Applies full competency in conventional engineering work and broad knowledge of precedents in specialty area, working under the supervision of a technical manager. On design assignments, understands how to clearly convey the design intent to engineering drawings and specifications.
On assignments involving engineering investigations and planning work, has a firm grasp of the fundamentals of engineering processes and their application to operating systems. ON projects involving engineering services related to construction activities, has developed a thorough understanding of construction methods and the manner in which engineering drawings and specifications are translated into the constructed product. Upholds engineering ethics and standards of conduct. NOTE: This level is to be used for Engineers without P.E., but whose 10+ years of experience in engineering work qualify them to perform at a level equivalent to that of the Sr. Engineer I. Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope. Performs preliminary engineering design and/or reviews the design and drafting work of junior engineers, designers or CADD operators. Prepares cost and man- hour estimates, job budgets, and schedules. Prepares or oversees the preparation of final plans and reports and submits them for approval. Conducts or oversees personnel involved in engineering investigations and planning work. Coordinates work with other engineers and professionals within and outside own discipline, and with support services staff. Plans, schedules and conducts or coordinates constructions services on projects of moderate scope. May occasionally assist in the management of projects.
Environmental Specialist – Mid
Must have a Bachelor degree in environmental sciences, biology, earth sciences or related fields. 3 years experience in coordinating and implementing environmental, hazardous, industrial waste related projects.
Functional Responsibility Under the supervision of a senior scientist or program manager, performs standard scientific work while developing professional proficiency. Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations which generally include the following: Carries out data collection, gathering samples and collecting field data. Tests samples and analyzes results obtained. Writes technical reports of findings. Participates in site assessments, monitoring studies or field surveys. Writes permit applications and reports for review by senior scientists. Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
Clerical Mid
H.S. diploma or GED is required. 3 years of experience in an office, experience with MS office software or accounting software is required.
Functional Responsibility Individual must have experience in the data entry field and be able to apply varied and advanced functions of word processing software to create, format, modify, and print a variety of documents. Must be familiar with functions to generate table of contents, to import graphs or databases, and to create glossaries and align columns. The individual will carry out familiar assignments in accordance with previous instructions, standard procedures for creation of entry and retrieval of data through use of established software packages.
Environmental Engineer – Jr
Must have a Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering or related fields. 0 years in environmental engineering program implementation, monitoring and remediation, and/or hazardous materials management program implementation is required.
Functional Responsibility Provide administrative or technical support to meet engineering objectives.
Perform support planning, coordination, finance and accounting, or technical tasks within a functional areas such as: engineering modeling, fabrication, testing, logistics engineering and quality control. Depending on specialty, could work closely with one or more supervisors/managers to ensure success of the overall project. Oversee staff. Provide training as required. Other duties as assigned.
Civil Engineer – Jr
Must have a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related fields. 0 years in civil engineering program implementation, planning, evaluation, operations, production, furnishing, construction, alteration, repair, processing or assembling of vessels, aircraft, or other kinds of personal property, including heating, ventilation and air-conditioning for such vessels and/or aircraft.
Functional Responsibility Provide administrative or technical support to meet engineering objectives. Establish monitoring and reporting standards and procedures. Monitor and report contract compliance, productivity, and cost and schedule adherence. It includes, but is not limited to, the design, fabrication, measurement and operation of electrical devices, equipment and systems (e.g., signal processing; telecommunication; sensors, microwave, and image processing; micro-fabrication; energy systems and control; micro- and nano-electronics; plasma processing; laser and photonics; satellites, missiles and guidance systems, space vehicles, fiber optics, robotics, etc.).

Logistician Mid
BS degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related fields. A BS degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience in areas such as transport or logistic operations/management, supply chain management, etc. may be accepted in lieu of the BS degree. Five (5) years in logistics program implementation, supporting areas such as transport or logistic operations/management, supply chain management, etc. 5 years of additional experience equates to BS degree.
Functional Responsibility The Logistician Mid must have experience in managing configuration and logistics management systems designed to provide clients with logistics technology to ensure effective and economical support for manufacturing and servicing of products, systems or equipment.
Plan and develops logistics program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product. Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of government and contractor personnel, and solves problems in area of logistics to meet mission requirement(s).
The Logistician may be responsible to compile data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistics activities and determines logistic support options and requirements arising from location/deployment of weapons systems
Engineering Technician Mid
H.S diploma or GED is required. 3 years' experience in coordinating and implementing environmental projects, sampling of groundwater, air, soil and surface water.
Functional Responsibility Provide support to senior administrative and project personnel. Work closely with supervisors/managers to provide needed support. Perform support planning, coordination, finance and accounting, or technical tasks within a functional area. Other duties as assigned.
Logistics Manager Senior
Must have a Bachelor degree in Logistics, Management related fields, or business administration, or years of related experience for the project they are supporting. Must have ten
(10) plus years of experience and have a Bachelor degree in Logistics, Management related fields, or business administration, or 10 plus years of related experience for the program they are supporting. 5 years of additional experience equates to BS degree.
Functional Responsibility The Logistics Manager Senior serves as the lead logistics expert responsible for overall coordination and completion of logistics functions. Directs technical efforts of logisticians assigned and/or other logistics managers. Provides technical expertise in planning, development, management, operation and maintenance of logistics systems.
Coordinates/reports logistics issues to Program Manager.
Acquisition Logistics Specialist Senior
Must have a Bachelor degree in Logistics, Management related fields, or business administration, or years of related experience for the project they are supporting. Must have ten
(10) plus years of experience and have a Bachelor degree in Logistics, Management related fields, or business administration, or 10 plus years of related experience for the program they are supporting. 5 years of additional experience equates to BS degree.
Functional Responsibility The Acquisition Logistics Specialist Senior serves as the lead acquisition expert for the overall coordination and completion of acquisition logistics function. Directs technical efforts of all acquisition logisticians assigned and/or other acquisition logistics managers. Provides technical expertise in all acquisition logistics functions associated with the design, development, test, production, fielding, sustainment or disposal of logistics systems.
Logistics Engineer Senior
Must have a Bachelor degree in Logistics, Management related fields, or business administration, or years of related experience for the project they are supporting. Must have ten
(10) plus years of experience and have a Bachelor degree in Logistics, Management related fields, or business administration, or 10 plus years of related experience for the program they are supporting. 5 years of additional experience equates to BS degree.
Functional Responsibility Responsible completely for the research, design, development and engineering analysis for a wide range of technical logistics programs. Provides leadership and expertise in technical analyses and complex technical problems. Provide engineering solutions to improve equipment and logistics performance and life cycle costs. Supervise other engineers or technical task groups or personnel.
Logistician Senior
BS degree (Masters preferred) in Business Administration, Logistics or related fields, Lean Six Sigma certification is required. A BS degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience in areas such as transport or logistic operations/management, supply chain management, etc. may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. Ten
(10) plus years in logistics program implementation, supporting areas such as transport or logistic operations/management, supply chain management, etc. 5 years of additional experience equates to BS degree.
The Senior Logistician must have progressive work experience in designing, developing, testing, and managing configuration and logistics management systems designed to provide clients with logistic technology to ensure effective and economical support for manufacturing and servicing of products, systems or equipment. Plans and develops logistics program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product. Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of government and contractor personnel, and solves problems in area of logistics to meet mission requirement(s). The Senior Logistician may be responsible to compile data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities and determines logistic support options and requirements arising from location/deployment of weapons systems.
